Got my order for 2 phones delivered today, and got them both activated to start the countdown clock on the unlock. For anyone who bought one just to activate for the one-month plan you purchased and unlock, the easiest way is the automated phone service (the online process wasn't working for me):

1) 1-877-430-2355
2) Press 2 to Activate Device
3) Press 2 for a New Number
4) Follow voice prompt to enter IMEI, ZIP code, create PIN, etc. When asked by the prompt if you want to "add to an existing account", say "No". If you purchased a plan with the phone, it will recognize this and automatically activate the SIM for the plan.

When the voice prompt tells you to power on the device, the instructions were incomplete and unclear. If you've never activated a phone before here are the steps:

1) Attached to the box for your phone is the associated SIM card in a pouch; remove and punch out the nano-SIM.
2) Using the SIM tool in the iPhone box (or a small paperclip), pop out your SIM card tray and insert the nano-SIM.
3) Re-insert the SIM tray into the iPhone and power on the phone.
4) Go through the setup process; I recommend connecting to WiFi when prompted to make things go faster.
5) Your phone should be activated within a few minutes of being powered on with the SIM inserted, assuming you went through all the steps in the automated phone activation.

So no luck at Tega Cay, SC Walmart. They did have at least 2 in stock. The guy was nice looking into it for 30 mins or so. He finally found out the Walmart had to have the WARP system for in-store phone activation so call up or local Walmart to ask if they have that. He mentioned the store in Rock Hill, SC on Dave Wylie had the WARP system.

I'm not going to waste my time going there, but thought I'd help others. Be sure to call the local Walmart you are going to, ask if they have the phone in stock (both stores said online they didn't have stock, but both stores did have them in stock) and ask if they have the WARP system for activation. Good luck everyone.

Yes done it three times now. Use it a few times with the straighttalk network for a few days first though. Text, call, browse then 61 days later unlocked.

Got my 4 iPhones delivered yesterday. They were ordered in 2 different order. All 4 are activated by calling Straight Talk automated activation line and providing IMEI for the phones.

I used the same sim for all 4 phones. I am wondering what to do with 4 sims that are with a plan.... Maybe sell them since I dont need them

Does the straight talk iphone se 2022 come in the big green straight talk box that is similar to the other straight talk phones or is it packaged in the little white apple box?
White iPhone box and a little envelope taped to it which included sim card and activation instructions. Called in and took about 5 mins to activate.

Went to Walmart at 6 and got 2. Nice!
Does the phone ring up $49 when purchasing with any plan? Was the sale done by Straighttalk reps (the wireless guy), or simply just the Walmart employee? In other words, as long as a plan is purchased together, it is $49 for the phone, no special steps required?

Asking this because my local Walmart does not have a "wireless guy", they cannot activate any service, just sell the phone and the plan.

Each phone is associated in their system with the specific SIM that comes attached to its own box. When you entered the IMEI over the phone to activate it on the network, each of the four SIMs was activated with their respective phones and plan. What you do with the SIMs physically is a different matter and the only thing that is accomplished by switching one between all four phones is potentially causing unlock problems down the road if they end up re-associated with a different phone / SIM. It would probably be a good idea to insert the proper SIMs into the phones they're supposed to be with and make sure they're all working right soon. That way, you can give them a call and straighten it out now if something got messed up.

Yeah Walmart employee rang it up $49 plus $45 plan. Just did separate transaction for each phone. He printed the StraightTalk paper with my emails and Pin for phone.

Data point: I ordered on 11/7. $49 phone and $45 plan, like $104 after taxes. Got shipping e-mail on 11/7, says delivery on 11/9. 11/9 afternoon, the box showed up on my doorstep. Gonna activate later today.

This company has no idea what there doing I also had that issue. I had to create a new account when logging in with the new number then it shows there's a line on the account. The old account I have now just looks like it was just an account that was used to buy it it self. So now I have 2 accounts how Verizon allows this company to run like this is mind blowing

Also my phone was shipped out from a return center but came factory sealed.
what makes you think the phone was shipped from a return center, just because the address on the top left has a return center listed there?

that's just a return address, these are shipped from a massive distribution warehouse. What you got was a brand new phone, nobody should worry that they are getting returned phones.

my order frm monday hasnt shipped either, pending remote fulfillment status. cc is already charged. just tried calling and the response is 'there is no problem with the order, it will take 3-5 business days to fullfil'. i didnt argue about the 1-3 business days promise at the time of order. will wait til next monday and see what happens
i have two points here
1. they shouldnt have charged the CC when they havent even shipped the item
2. if the problem is with the $35 plan selected which was possible on monday, then they should have cancelled the order rather holding. it is very unreasonable that people who ordered on tuesday and wednesday are getting their phones while the monday orders are being kept on hold
I'm in the exact same boat as you. I've already started a dispute with my credit card company to get a refund.

Oh they only let you do one phone per transaction? I was hoping to do two phones per transaction and hopefully knock that plan cost down with multiple line discount
