Got my order for 2 phones delivered today, and got them both activated to start the countdown clock on the unlock. For anyone who bought one just to activate for the one-month plan you purchased and unlock, the easiest way is the automated phone service (the online process wasn't working for me):

1) 1-877-430-2355
2) Press 2 to Activate Device
3) Press 2 for a New Number
4) Follow voice prompt to enter IMEI, ZIP code, create PIN, etc. When asked by the prompt if you want to "add to an existing account", say "No". If you purchased a plan with the phone, it will recognize this and automatically activate the SIM for the plan.

When the voice prompt tells you to power on the device, the instructions were incomplete and unclear. If you've never activated a phone before here are the steps:

1) Attached to the box for your phone is the associated SIM card in a pouch; remove and punch out the nano-SIM.
2) Using the SIM tool in the iPhone box (or a small paperclip), pop out your SIM card tray and insert the nano-SIM.
3) Re-insert the SIM tray into the iPhone and power on the phone.
4) Go through the setup process; I recommend connecting to WiFi when prompted to make things go faster.
5) Your phone should be activated within a few minutes of being powered on with the SIM inserted, assuming you went through all the steps in the automated phone activation.
So no luck at Tega Cay, SC Walmart. They did have at least 2 in stock. The guy was nice looking into it for 30 mins or so. He finally found out the Walmart had to have the WARP system for in-store phone activation so call up or local Walmart to ask if they have that. He mentioned the store in Rock Hill, SC on Dave Wylie had the WARP system.

I'm not going to waste my time going there, but thought I'd help others. Be sure to call the local Walmart you are going to, ask if they have the phone in stock (both stores said online they didn't have stock, but both stores did have them in stock) and ask if they have the WARP system for activation. Good luck everyone.
Yes done it three times now. Use it a few times with the straighttalk network for a few days first though. Text, call, browse then 61 days later unlocked.

the email or phone number is used to sign into ST account on website.
Can you have multiple lines attached to the same e-mail? or each line has its own e-mail.

Do you know if it has to be unlocked first before trade in?
I don't understand where this question always comes from... can someone point me to a carrier trade in program / promotion that has required the trade in device to be unlocked, because I have never seen one.

Do people confuse the phone being icloud unlocked (aka not stolen) with being SIM unlocked?

I've bought both ST & TW phones before but always activated on TF.
ST service is expensive & more than I need, use Google Voice & I'm on WiFi most of the time.
You ever have a problem receiving calls with your GV? Sometimes the caller can barely hear me. Drives me crazy.

I'm at Walmart store and in stock, but the associate is saying, have to be with straight active plan for 1 year to get unlocked, not in 2 months.

Works fine for me, it's all I've used for several years. Only issue I have is that I can't use it for direct dialing with my GV number on iPhone - I have to use app.

kind of fed up at this point. Not sure it is worth more time and effort. I do think if you really want to get the point across you all should hit up Straight Talk on social media. Blow it up with bad press. They use it to try and talk about promo's and how they do great things for customers. How about everyone blows it all up with bad PR until they get their act together. Bring the issues to the light.

I will even link you all their social if it helps.

Edit: Love the downvotes for being one of the people that followed the rules online and hasn't had a phone shipped. Spent 4 hours in a store today and told the Straight Talk phones weren't activating after pacing the store 3 hours. Just trying to get a phone for myself. Not one of the losers trying to flip them to kill the deal for users that will actually use them.
Does FB have something similar to T-Force that actually solves problems?

I am still in f'cking limbo from my 2 Monday orders

Has anyone gotten the "Pending remote fulfillment." issue resolved? Positively or negatively?

I can't imagine the SE3 will stay higher tier for the 16 release, possible not even for the S24 release. My plan is to trade in the SE3 for a zFlip 5 now to use as a backup to my 15 pro max. Then in 2 years trade in the Flip 5 for $1000 towards a 17 pro max and sell the 15 PM. Now if only I can find a store that has both a ST rep and the phones in stock. It's been one or the other earlier this week.
On the Samsung.com site when I try to look up trade-in with Z Flip5, site doesn't list SE 3 as eligible trade-in. Where are you planning to trade SE3? and how much value you will get?
