Just to expound on this.

VA panels have better contrast, but worse viewing angles from the sides (image gets more washed out). IPS and ADS/ADS Pro which are related have worse contrast, so think lifted black levels, but better viewing angles. I've seen the 75" U8K at best buy and it wasn't impressive for contrast imo, it looks washed out compared to something like the TCL QM8, but it does have a ton of other benefits besides that. I'd say for LCD TVs the U8K in 55", 65", and 85" are the best choices out there today, but for 75" I'm not sure there's a winning LCD TV this year in the US, the U8K has poor contrast, the QM8 has horrible brightness tracking for HDR which destroys star fields and makes images inaccurate, and Sony didn't make a true new flagship 75" for the US this year.
Let's name our 4K TV "U8K"
Note that the 75" U8K has an ADS-PRO panel, all other sizes have VA panels. Most people prefer VA.

I would recommend researching ADS panels to see if it fits your use case.

It's this set, the Sony X90L, or if you can swing $1800 then the LG B3 OLED is that price at Best Buy. For $1300 the U8K is the best you can get.

There's more to a tv than just the picture quality. Sound quality, reflection handling, software, viewing angles, the remote, sdr performance, ota tv performance, how thick and heavy the tv is, the port selection, how well it handles motion, ect,. They noted slight display nonuniformity in the Hisense and the sound quality wasn't the best. Neither was owner satisfaction.
Most people who are buying this TV are not using the TV's sound system I would wager....

Absolutely ignorant post. TV has a 2 year warranty for that worst case.

My motherboard went out at 8 months and 30 months...pain to fix the first time since you have to take it off the wall and now have to buy a whole ass new TV since it's just past the 2 years; not saying I'm staying clear but at the same time does leave a hesitancy for me to choose another one

B3, hands down. OLED is in a different league. This can't compare. The only thing better than OLED is QD-OLED which is a hybrid QLED/OLED.

X93L it is I guess at that size (and no slouch) or go OLED or 85" if you really value PQ.

It's not a Sony flagship, but the X90L has been getting raves from reviewers I trust. They give it equal to or better than marks to the U8K and QM8, despite it not being MiniLED. It's a Sony and that means excellent upscaling and processing of mediocre sources like Netflix, cable boxes, satellite, etc. It has the Sony XR Clear technology, which is a massive improvement. The 65" is currently $1099 and the 75" is $1499. The 75" was released at $1999.

To see a quality 65" Sony at the same price as a TCL is amazing. The 75" Sony is actually $200 cheaper than the 75" QM8!!!

I saw the 90 l 2 days ago at bestbuy. I don't know about processing but the image looked considerably flatter compared to the above mentioned

I bought the U8K 85" about 2 weeks ago and it has been fantastic. The picture is excellent and the google tv experience is surprisingly quick. I also got it at the 1799 price from amazon and am extremely happy with it.
