The price on this TV has been going down every week for the last few weeks. $1352, $1182, $1119, and now this.
I bought it for $1352 + $650 for the q990 sound bar. I got a price adjustment the first time, but the csr didn't let me do it for the second time.
This is a terrible TV. I wanted to return it, but past the return date.
It uses the Quantum processor lite found in the q60c so it is probably similar to that one even though the msrp is more like the q70c.

Well needed at least an 85" for the basement, seating is 15 ft away from tv. Only wanted to spend $1K because we are not enthusiasts. Was deciding between the LG UR8000 Costco deal for $900 or this for $950. I know the LG has a better refresh rate and better warranty. But went to Sam's to see both (Q60 for Samsung is a close equivalent). Honestly the Samsung looked better to my eyes, both brightness, dark details, and motion. I know the settings are what they are and can't be adjusted in the store, but the Samsung looked much better. Decided to go with this. I get another year extended warranty with my Capital One card. They both look good enough for me and I'm sure either will suit our needs.

I have this TV (Samsung QE1C 85). Got it for $1192 + tax in early Sept 2023. We love it. This is entry level QLED tv, much better than UHD 85 tv. It is fully compared to Q60 series which is sold now for $1598 + tax. This model is only available in Samsung website and not other retailers and only in 85 in size. We have this in living room and we have 85 in Samsung Q80BD in media room. Both were purchased in same week. The Q80BD is very bright and movies look awesome but QE1C 85 tv is right color wise for living. Absolutely no complaints. For $950, Samsung 85 QLED is worth it. Go for it. Only Con is, any item bought in Samsung website, it comes with 15 days return. Even for price adjust it has to be 15 days. So it's $150 lesser now than I bought in Sept.
How long did Samsung take to ship the tv? I ordered last Friday evening and shows estimated delivery on Nov 10th but it's not shipped yet and still in Order placed stage.

It took 1 week to receive local delivery agent's email that they received my tv order in their warehouse and I had to schedule the delivery based on their availability. They deliver the TV at main entrance boxed as is and will not open it or clear the packages. On that same week I got the Sam's Club Samsung Q80B delivered (saw this tv in deal today (Nov 7th 2023 at Dallas Sam's Club for $1599+tax with 5 years warranty and $100 Sam's eCash - the same deal I got it for this model in Sept mid) and it was top class delivery experience by local delivery agent (of Sam's Club) and they placed the TV in media room (2nd floor) and helped unbox, connect the base, place it on tv unit, turn on and test it and then took signature. But this Samsung website QE1C delivery is just at main entrance, I had to REQUEST the delivery folks to unbox it so I want to ensure it is not damaged and they did in hurry by lifting the box sliding up, leaving the tv on its base box fully covered and turned on the TV half buried in its box. Please note, this 85 tv is SUPER BIG (almost size of full rug) and even 2 persons cannot handle it easily, it's very thin bezel and any incorrect unboxing can damage it. It was hectic for me to do it alone as I used loads of ratchet and ropes to lay it down on floor, slide it out of the box, make it stand up upside down so I can fix the two legs and then flip it upside down without hitting any of the sides on the floor, to make it work. Wow, it was 2 hours for me all alone just to unbox the tv and fix those 2 legs and I almost broke the tv. LOL. Q80 came with 1 stand in the middle (not 2 legs)

I bought 82 inch qled q60 from Costco last year for like 1000 dollars: honestly, it's 60hz and all that jazz but it's been great! It plays games and streams all our content perfect and pic looks great. Speakers are loud and good too.

We use like Netflix Hulu apple etc itunes etc and ps5 and laptop via hdmi.

No lag or anything. If I didn't have that I would have jumped on this 85 inch.

One good thing tho is I got a 7 year warranty.
Got the same deal except Costco delivery broke the screen. Got price match from Best Buy since it was the last unit Costco had. Paired it with a $500 Yamaha YHT-4950 surround sound system for a home theater set-up. Visitors are blown away by the movie theater experience.

The Hunnee has $60 CB offer today

Chat rep gave me both the 2 year and the 10% at my first "compared to Costco deal" comment. So that would put me under $1k delivered when all is said and done. . .

Anybody else pondering between this deal and the Costco deals for similar $$: 75" hisense u7 (now sold out for me) and the LG 86" UR8000??

Really wish they had already released the "coming soon" 85" version of the u7 by now. . .

First ask for 10% discount. Chat rep will add it to cart and send you a link. Open that link and copy the Discount code. Now go back to the chat and ask them to check if you can get 2 yr free coverage. If they say they can add only either of the 10% or 2 yr coverage, ask them to take off 10% and add 2 yr coverage. Rep will add it to cart and send you new link, open the new link and enter the coupon code you copied before. Now you'll have both 10% code and 2 yr add-on coverage. 🙂

Which one is better Q70C or QE1C. Major difference I see is 60Hz vs 120Hz, but the list price of QE1C is much higher.

List price is $2799 for both models, right?
