It does go on sale for this price several times a year, but it is not normally it is not this price and usually the sales are not for all colors.
Been keeping an eye out for this mouse on Amazon for a while and saw that it dropped today and other retailers had it at the same price so I figured I'd include them all here. This is the ATL according to CCC and it appears to only come down to this price once or twice a year.
The only sure fix is to replace the switch. It used to be that would involve soldering, but it's a such popular mouse with such a consistent flaw that now you can buy a replacement switch+pcb+assembly on Ali3xpress for around $5, or Amazon for ~$15 that doesn't need any solder to swap in. Just a screwdriver. Is that worth doing for a $30 mouse? I don't know, but if you already have one, it cuts down on e-waste slightly.
A similar mouse is the razer orochi v2, which occasionally (not now) is $35-40 on sale. Much more satisfying clicks (compared to default g305), slightly smaller shape, but the battery is days to weeks instead of many months like it is on the g305. The orochi also adds a a Bluetooth option whereas the g305 is only the USB dongle.

Sadly, no. A lot, even Logitech ones, don't have tilt. It is just a feature that isn't everywhere, yet.
However, I have another one that does have a double-click issue with the left button.
I use the mice anywhere from 6-10 hours a day.
I absolutely hate this issue, but the performance, decent ergonomics, weight, and battery life are all great so in for 2

Mine started this after 2 years.
Is Logitech fixing the problem out of warranty?
All of these Logi mice do this. You can whack it and air spray it to fix it for a week, but the solution is to buy ten mice and swap them when this happens.
At least, that's what they want you to do.

It's usually because the tension spring inside the button switch wears out.
The fix is to open up the mouse and bend the spring to increase the tension or to replace the spring. No soldering involved.
Here is a good tutorial that shows the steps and it also warns you about the annoying steps:

Not too big or heavy, just right.

Logitech is known for double click issues after a year or two. On my G604 I bought used, that didn't have double click issues, I just swapped to kailh silent switches anyways. Learning to solder (even if it's not great quality) is a great skill to have.
