If you want it for gaming, just get one of the $450-$550 RTX 3050 and better laptops.

But that's kinda like "the fastest 70-year-old sprinter". If you're serious about gaming, get a discrete GPU. This should play games just fine though.
The M2 "integrated" graphics are practically discrete graphics and actually put this chip to shame. See below.

This needs more Ram, as that igpu doesn't have dedicated memory and would need to deduct memory from that same 16gb pool when playing games. No option to configure the ram to 32gb either as far as I know.
Too bad it's not at least 15".
Can't play anything demanding at the native res but if the upscaling works well...
I'd prefer something like this over a Legion Go for gaming if the performance was compareable.
Edit: The 1200p version with larger battery is only $629. Very tempted. Have a ASUS M16 that I run on a 65watt USBC charger when travelling but I'm pretty sure the battery is going to get annihilated by the constant charge/discharge. Maybe that's OK and I just replace the battery when its on the fritz.
Claims of low battery life seem to be referencing the 51wh and/or Intel configs.
