I'm done with uber eats. Really, I'm done with all those food delivery services entirely. Uber eats was actually one of the best, sadly. Missing an $8 item on a $15 order? Ok here's $8 back. You want to get the missing item? Ok $8 + fees + the mandatory tip to have someone bring it out to you again. GG.

But a least they did that. Any other asshole place that uses white label doordash will play the "I'm so sorry! If you come by we'll give you a replacement"

Use it for Uber eats pickup, search for food deals (bogo) and double it up with your monthly $15 Amex Uber credit for a decent priced take out dinner.

he ment it will most likely not work as it codes as uber cash not regular uber charge

since the terms state only uber rides/ uber eats delivery

I love when they give me half my food and only refund me the price of half my food but not half the tip and delivery fees which amounts to about as much of my food. So I'll pay $50 to get 2 meals delivered. And get a $10 refund when one meal is missing. Oh okay. Cool ? 15% off for half my meal missing.

That's what I find asinine about these delivery services. There's very little accountability and whenever there's a screwup they all kinda shrug and basically blame you for using them.

Am I the only one who doesn't understand why this means you're "done with uber eats"? You never indicated that the policy changed.

I did on Saturday. Got the e-mail confirmation of the offer getting triggered. Yet to see the credit posted though, which probably will take few more days.
Btw I have taken an oath not to use delivery. It's either pickup with an offer or Uber cash or I order directly with the restaurant.
