micro USB. Wtf.
I have the SteelSeries Arctis 7X wireless headset which is similar to this model, but only has 2.4 and no Bluetooth. I've had it for about year and it's my first wireless headset. The quality is great and the range is also good. No lag on discord, or in game. Yep micro USB, which works fine to charge the set.

Does anyone know how these compare to the Arctic Pro Wireless? Just bought a set of those, but these being $150 cheaper is tempting me to return.

I have the nova 7x which has both the dongle wireless on 2.4 and Bluetooth. Highly recommend and I like the design better than this one. The mic completely hides inside the ear cup instead of this weird nub. I use it on Win for gaming with the dongle, Mac for work over BT. then I just use the dongle on xbox or PS5 if I'm on console.

The xbox version of the nova 7x works (wirelessly) on all systems. The 9 does not. nova 7x is usb C. the 9 is micro usb.

i believe 9 has a slightly better build quality and DTS surround. but the compatibility, sleek mic design, usb c, and wireless on every pc and console I own pushed me towards the nova 7x. I don't understand why the 9 has an msrp of $200. in my extensive research, the nova 7x was a better value

Seems sold out on Amazon already. At least, all that is showing up for me from that link is Used.

Edit: Seems available now.

The biggest difference I can see is the Pro has Hi-Res Audio Drivers and a Swappable Battery. But the Hi-Res Audio Drivers don't do anything on a PS5.

I have this and the sound and mic quality is great. But yeahโ€ฆthat micro usb cable is pretty annoying that I have to have an extra obsolete cable ready to go when charging is needed

Is Hi Res worth it for PC? For say, FPS multiplayer - would it help me hear footsteps, etc.?
