Just got an email from ASUS with a generic coupon for the Z1 Extreme model for $100 off making it $599 instead of $699.
I personally have a Steam Deck and am happy with it, but after researching and seeing a popular (
+58 deal) from BestBuy for the same price, but requiring a Total Tech membership, I thought I'd share.

Coupon: NC100 during checkout.
FWIW, I tried it on the non-Extreme model and the coupon code did not apply.
Coupon code per email ends on Nov 8th, or "While supplies last."
edit: Although coupon stated through Nov 8th, it is still active on Nov 9th. YMMV on how much longer it's valid.

Exactly why I have a 2 TB SSD in mine, and it has been doing great for 3 months now.
I would pick it up in person at my local BB anyway... so has anyone had more success with in-person price matching at Best Buy vs online?

Same SSD i got SN740 from China somwhere. Hopefully it's legit and holds up. I noticed it getting pretty hot in an external enclosure. Popped a heatsink on it prior to going full bore in the Ally.
But the rich are not playing games on portables.
If i was poor actually a hand held like this would be perfect to distract me from the dead end education and jobs provided to todays mostly useless youth.
They ended up not giving me that extra $20 off because it was a coupon for Asus's website to get the deal. Oh well.
I really like this so far - I have all my game stores (EA, Xbox, Steam, GoG, and Epic - hey I get all the free games from wherever SD tells me to!) setup and all Windows updates… and now I can play some games
