Rtings says it's not as bright as the advertised 380 nit typical brightness. Nut quality may vary.

Any comments on how good this monitor at this price compares to the other $300 monitors out there like the ASUS 27GP850 ?
Seems as good but not many direct comparisons

If it had launched at $300 they would have sold a ton more of them

Paying for RBG, fancy bells and whistles, and Razer name.
Hard to believe the list price was $800.

This is a great monitor for this price... but it's still an IPS gaming monitor.

If you were looking to drop $800 on a 1440P gaming monitor, this is a crazy choice in a world where LG's 27" OLED exists.

For MRSP, terrible deal, you can get much better monitors for $800. However, at $299? Its pretty damn good. The build quality alone is great. I picked it up for $299 a while back and no regrets.

Frf 's are the worst of the bunch, I agree

But this Amazon review seals the deal for me

Highly disappointed for the price

This monitor retails for $799.99 and for that price it should have everything you would ever need. Instead you can't even mount this to monitor arms like EVERY OTHER DECENT MONITOR for a fraction of the cost. It says vesa compatible but let me tell you it is NOT. Come to find out you have to pay even more money for some absolutely over engineered and purposely obscure mounting solution. So how much is this adaptor that RAZER makes you buy to simply mount your monitor that you just gave them $800 dollars for? How about $100 more bucks. So after you pay $800 dollars and see that they promote this as vesa compatible you find out that RAZER purposely cornered you, a paying customer, into paying even more money for what is a very basic feature. Based on principle alone I returned this item. Even on sale this monitor isn't worth it. It's not 4K or anything, the base, that you are going to have to use unless you are willing to give more money to a scummy company, is wildly oversized and takes up way too much desk space "

This dude is angry. Had to check the date of his review cuz I thought it was written right at the tail end of no nut November.
