I had the original 8-bit Game Boy and this is scratching an itch I never even knew I had.

Many might feel the unit is a little cramped if you have larger hands. But in all honesty it's not too bad, just have to find a sweet spot hand position for prolong use. All in all it was very impressed and happy with it.
I must say I prefer the Miyo mini+ with OnionOS, though.
