This item was posted last month for a higher price and hit the Front Page. This listing offers the lowest price recorded on Slickdeals (it's been posted 6 times total, each time reaching Front Page).

Nah man. Imo just buy a better microsd card, even a 64GB one is fine. Just get a good brand. The one it comes with is kinda crappy. Put garlic OS on it, that's only four gigs. There's a 90gb torrent pack made specifically for this. A lot of ps1 rpgs on it I deleted that take up a lot of the pack anyway. That I'd never play on a little screen. It's worth it for $45. No doubt

Is there any reason to get the more expensive version?

(I'm assuming you just get a cheap 128GB microSD card, and a few more ROMs that you can download yourself?)

Thanks. I'm in for one!

I had the original 8-bit Game Boy and this is scratching an itch I never even knew I had.

They're actually not bad, It wasn't enabled for most of the included games that I tested and played on it.

Many might feel the unit is a little cramped if you have larger hands. But in all honesty it's not too bad, just have to find a sweet spot hand position for prolong use. All in all it was very impressed and happy with it.

I bought one of these. It has a built-in OS switcher app to use Garlic with the same ROMs. It went from laggy GameBoy games to perfect emulation, for example.

I must say I prefer the Miyo mini+ with OnionOS, though.

Honestly wonderful device. I have never heard a bad word about it. The only con is if you really need wifi, and honestly that's just not really something most people need.

There are a lot of guides on how you get this setup on Garlic and how to source the correct games.

Buy base model. Plan to replace all the microsds they send.

I think its because a lot of people got mad at geekbuying over the last few months... but for me personally they shipped what I ordered. It did take some time, though.
