I personally love LG and Dolby vision, but I refuse to pay more for inferior tech, so I'll try this Samsung out. A lot of people say hdr 10 and dv are not distinguishable.

Also worth notating, this is a gen 2 qd oled panel. Same as the s95c meaning this panel easily outperforms the LG C2 in brightness and colors. I guess the price is lower cause they don't have to pay DV licensing fees.. I wonder how much those are per set?

I went to bestbuy again for the third time in the past 3 days and decided to go with the LG G3. Color accuracy is just better with LG IMO and I don't want to spend hours tinkering and calibrating the Samsung display which may be better, but just isn't dialed in out of the box. Also, I don't think I can live w/out DV... I saw a few comparisons and we are talking about 12 bit color depth vs 10 bit. Their is a difference.

Just caved and ordered one. Couldnt get the lucky deal even after refreshing all day. Used EPP + Got 2 Years of Samsung Care + through chat + 5% Discover cashback using Amazon Pay + Used urlhasbeenblocked for another 5% back with $40 bonus. Total after tax was $1913

Once in my cart, I just pulled down on my screen for refresh and I popped up. Maybe try clearing your cache or use in incognito mode?

I had to get the rep to help with getting it in the cart, the app is a cluster F...

Yes I am losing my mind here. It is impossible to add the 77" to my cart on the app, it reverts to S95C when you click that size. And the reps on the app send a link to a cart for a website but will not add the items to cart in app so that I can do the lucky day deal.

You can reschedule up to like a month out I think. I currently have COVID so they had to reschedule my 65-in, but I honestly think I'm going to get the 77.

I can't even get a rep to connect, lol. Terrible app.

Edit: Updated app, that helped, but agent still won't add to cart. Only link.

Why? This is a superior tv. As someone who owns both LG and Samsung OLEDs, the difference in color is a game changer. And for anyone who complains about the lack of DV, find me an LG with DV and color volume to match the Samsung. Arguing DV makes the tv superior is like saying a 3.1 sound bar with atmos processing is superior to a 5.1 surround sound setup without atmos. The hardware matters much more than the marketing gimmick.
