I personally love LG and Dolby vision, but I refuse to pay more for inferior tech, so I'll try this Samsung out. A lot of people say hdr 10 and dv are not distinguishable.
Also worth notating, this is a gen 2 qd oled panel. Same as the s95c meaning this panel easily outperforms the LG C2 in brightness and colors. I guess the price is lower cause they don't have to pay DV licensing fees.. I wonder how much those are per set?

UPDATE: I CANCELLED MY ORDER!
I went to bestbuy again for the third time in the past 3 days and decided to go with the LG G3. Color accuracy is just better with LG IMO and I don't want to spend hours tinkering and calibrating the Samsung display which may be better, but just isn't dialed in out of the box. Also, I don't think I can live w/out DV... I saw a few comparisons and we are talking about 12 bit color depth vs 10 bit. Their is a difference.
LG G3 wins top TV of the year

" A lot of people say hdr 10 and dv are not distinguishable." = Even the true audiophiles who repeatedly say it all the time. There isn't a single admired expert review that prefers DV, or that it should be any deal breaker.
Dumb of Samsung to lose so many potential sales? Yeah. At the same time, it's great for consumers with lower prices.
Brightness of the store (compared in Costco and Sam's as well) didn't change any of this.
If you need the extra size then maybe the x95k is better at that price. IMO, if you're going to spend 2,700 you should be getting the best picture quality.
I bought this but delayed delivery.
I'll make a decision then. Can't go wrong with either truly. At 8' away though, 85" might be tad too big.
Is 8' the furthest distance or average? Makes a difference. If 8 is the absolute max distance, then go with S90C. Again though, no wrong choice, other than saving $700

I've no plans to purchase anything else directly from them, so I'm looking to give someone else the code, as long as they are willing to split the savings. Including a screenshot showing that the coupon does stack with the discount programs.

Even after playing browser roulette, the price just shows as $2499 and tells me constantly that "the coupon was removed because you got a better deal" or something along those lines. Back again to broken garbage website.

Or do I chat, get it added to cart, refresh for lucky price, and then proceed?
EDIT: Well, I was able to add it via PC for $1999. But then when I tried to add it from mobile, it kept selecting S95C when I clicked on 77". Asked for help to get it in my cart.
They asked if I wanted to add any add-ons, I played dumb and asked what the add-ons were, and what the warranty is. Chat rep explained 1 year warranty, but they can give me 2 years Samsung Care+ for free.
Now I guess I just keep refreshing until I get that magic $1899?
