https://www.crandalloffice.com/ just released their Black Friday sale. You can get a Steelcase Leap V2 for $533.11 with coupon code BF2023 and shipping is free. You also get a 30-day Free Return policy.
This deal is almost as good as the 15% off they offered in May and slightly better than the 10% off they offered for 4th of July.

I purchased my chair through https://ohrhomeofficesolutions.com as they have a warehouse 10 minutes from my house. Give their prices a look as their normal price for a steel case Leap V2 is $499 which is cheaper than this sale.
I purchased a steelcase leap v2 over the summer from crandall and it's been amazing. I tried the herman miller aeron first but returned it because it wasn't supportive or comfortable
I have a buddy who deals Herman Millers as a side gig. He told me that these "refurbished" chairs are typically a terrible deal, because they don't include a warranty.
Whenever you purchase a Herman Miller at full price you get a 12 year warranty. Offices typically purchase these chairs without the warranty and get them for half the cost.
So when these dudes say they are selling you a $1200 chair for $600, they're really selling you a $200 chair for $600.
Crandall gives their own 12 year warranty. Based on reddit reviews, they really honor their warranty.

you've said almost nothing here... refurb at half price is a bad deal according to some guy based on lack of chair warranty alone... odd take unless you're banking on needing chair repairs
wouldn't nearly every slickdealer in history pick the half price refurb and deal with the slim chance of needing repair?
and even if it did... at that price you could literally buy another and have every single non-broken part as a spare
