Cheap but check the reviews (sort by new). Looks like a nightmare.

You need to pay $5-10 monthly rent for them. They replace it with new or refurbished whenever you have issue again based on availability; end of day you won't own it.

Bought this exact model about 6-7 months ago for about 160$. No complaints, it worked without a fuss so far.

had a bad experience with this brand/model. I got mine from Walmart, including the extended warranty. After a year or so the hot water stopped working. Submitted a claim and all they sent me was prepaid usps label. I was going to have to box up this giant thing and mail it to them. I figured it would be cheaper for them to send me a new one than shipping both ways. Then it wouldn't cool water. I ended up junking it because I didn't have to time to deal with it. Felt like was going to be a long laborious battle to go through the warranty process with this company

I used that Primo bulk water dispenser which is just filtered tap water and found it completely undrinkable. Yuk. My house water tastes better.

I'm very demanding when I drink gourmet coffee, so I splurge and buy 5 gallon bottles of spring water.

Had this for about 3 weeks (purchased from Lowe's for about $150) and so far so good! We don't like too cold water so we didn't turn on the Cold switch - just room temperature.

Even though description says it has a night LED light, I'm not sure it does...

My advice on water coolers is to pay up for a higher quality unit. Went thru 2 cheapies in 3 years and then spent $300 on Oasis brand. My only complaint on the Oasis is that the compressor is a bit loud but it has been rock solid for many years.

I have a similar PRIMO one with a more boxy looking face. Ive had it for two years with no complaints.

I am on a Primo subscription bought at costco and have the same model which I dont own (Primo does) and I pay approx $4 per month as rent for the machine. have been thinking of buying the machine for long term but not sure of the warranty. As part of the subscription, Primo said that they will replace my machine if it stops working and that's why I am paying the monthly fee..not sure if I should buy instead. Can people with experience on this share thoughts? TIA
It will take 25 months to break even by my math, or 27 if you get the 3yr service plan. Not a great investment imo.

I just happened to clean my Primo top load cooler last night. It takes about 30 minutes.

You are supposed to add bleach OR vinegar to (2 gallons of water), to clean it. Not both.

I see a review about someone claiming they cleaned theirs with vinegar and bleach and their family started feeling ill…. You are not suppose to mix those things lol.

I thought you can get these things for free with a water bottle subscription.
"Free" is a bit of a stretch. My sister uses Ozarka service and it is stupid expensive. Yes, she got the dispenser for "free".
I have had the Primo top load one for almost 10 years and haven't had a single problem.

FYI, I have one of these bottom loading dispensers and love it, but beware that the pump can give out after a couple-few years, depending on frequency of usage. We're a family of 6, so it gets used a lot. Good news is that the pump is replaceable, which a lot of people don't know. I've had to replace mine twice in 7 years. Its a $25 part and takes about 25 minutes. At this price, I might buy this as a backup. Only thing I don't like about it is that it's not self-cleaning. I suppose you could clean it manually with a water & vinegar solution or citric acid, but the convenience of self-cleaning is nice.

We had a bottom loading unit and returned it because we didn't like paying for water in a glass bottle to then run it up a plastic straw into a plastic reservoir.

I'm sure there's a bit of that in the top loaders as well, but it's not a gallon worth that takes 30 seconds to fill.
