Every time Mids are posted in here some insecure "sneaker head" chimes in about how only girls or lame people wear them. Wear what you like, people.
Just some food for thought, I used to wear mid top sneakers almost exclusively for the extra ankle support. My podiatrist told me that's not great, especially for daily use. If I don't have a need for constant support, I'm actually hindering my ankle's ability to flex and move as it is a joint. Main takeaway, stick to low tops for daily wear.

Also note your foot shape. There's 3 different types of "lasts" (shoe bottom). Straight, semi curved and curved. Based on the shape of your foot, pick the right one. I caused some nerve damage in my big toe by constantly wearing a curved shoe when it should have been straight. Just sharing what I learned. these are curved FYI.

Maybe for Adidas. Would be too big of a step up for Nike sizing IMO.

If they are going to be for casual wear then yeah it would probably work with some thicker socks. Balling in them with that step up will turn them into a 12 1/4-1/2.

Contrary to the prior comment, I have to go up a half or whole size in Nikes compared to most shoes.

I just bought some other Jordan's this way and they fit well size wise. They are a very big/bulky shoe in general though, think they're going back.

The 5 unnecessary stitches on the Nike Swoosh ruin it for me.

In AJ1, I gotta half size up. They get tight in the toe box.

Me too. In my experience, Nike's run narrow compared to other brands. However, Jordan 1s are different and have a wider footbed. I wear a 10E (wide) in dress shoes and these fit true.

Are these hard to clean? Or do I need to make sure they don't get dirty

Agreed it looks weird, out of place. Almost like it was patched

I would add something similar. Stiffer soles were recommended for the same reasons. Too easy to overwork/ overextend toes in curved and very flexible shoes.
