Great for my use case. Zoom meetings and charging.l and hub. USB c to portable monitor does not work with Linux but fine with windows. Tempted to buy another

In for one. I've been using a cheap USB > HDMI adapter for my M2 Air that constantly cuts out. Other docks seem to be much more expensive so if this acts as a speaker it feels worth it. Any other feedback on use with a M2?

I want this, but it feels like it will sit in my home office and be one of those things I don't use since I don't work from home as much anymore.

Classic conspicuous consumption SD item... Let's see if I can make it through the day without thinking much about it.

cant find any info if i can use it as a dock for android...... i think it would but not sure. It'd be nice to use as a charger and dock for samsung phone dex mode.

I do Zoom calls all day long on a surface. My only concern is that the mic input is decent (I don't want lower quality sound than the surface). Does anyone have experience with this on one-on-one Zoom calls?

I don't believe that a laptop speaker will sound better than this. This has a tweeter, woofer and a passive radiator.

The reviews seem to range from great to mediocre. I'm liking the large mute button that easily hit when needed. If I don't like it, Woot has a good return policy and get a refund.

Presumably you can hook up like this:
Monitor1 -> HDMI input -> HDMI cable -> HDMI port dock
Monitor2 -> DP input -> DP to USB C cable -> USB C alt mode (DP) dock

Youll need a cable like this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B081VKXFSC
also note, looks like only one of those usb-c ports supports dp alt mode with the monitor icon

I've always preferred using DP from monitors. Alternatively, it should support going from usb-c to hdmi with something like this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07THJGZ9Z or a cable.

Way cheaper than Lenovo/HP/Dell/Surface docking station. Albeit with less ports so you'd have to lean on the monitors' hubs. If this came with a decent camera (I know, that'd be awkward) I'd just buy these instead of overpriced docking stations.
