Trickle charge the battery. Don't forget to buy several quarts of oil. Once you break it in you still need to change the oil frequently when using it. Oil in these air cooled engines is not just a lubricant. It acts like a coolant as well.

First time home owner in texas and becoming a father soon, surely this is a must. Can someone tell me if I dont plan to use it for a months on end. Would it be easy to start back up since its an electric start?

Ordered 1... upgraded from a 10 years old 2k peak 1.4k watts continues generator. This old one could barely run a frig. It's amazing that this WEN is 25% cheaper than the one I paid a decade ago.
