I like nomatic wallets and this looks like a great backpack. However, the nomatic backpack is 4 lbs? I recently tried a 3 lbs backpack and it felt heavy without content inside. With content, it felt really heavy on the back. Especially when wearing it all day traveling. Lighter is definitely a top priority when I select backpacks now.

This bag is awesome. I got it to replace my North Face since I needed something more professional for work. It fits the bill. Holds two laptops, ipad, notebook, mouse, giant headphones, and still some more room in the main pocket. I keep my cords and other things organized neatly in all the pockets.
Can get a little heavy but the chest strap works wonders. Literally talking myself out of buying a second one...

I have the nomatic travel pack (20L, expands to 30L) which is almost identical to the 20L backpack here minus the extra 5L of space. I use it to travel for work and it's worth its weight in gold. Some benefits:

-Acommodates 16" mbp m2 fine, tho barely
-waterproof exterior. This is key to protecting your electronics and why it is so heavy. Its made out of marine vinyl.
-shoulder straps tuck inside the luggage sleeve making it easy to slide under the airline seat in front of you.
-it has a luggage sleeve so it can slide over your carry-on. Not all backpacks offer this. Tho if you have the straps in there too its a tight fit.
-the backpack always sits upright when you set it down. Makes it easier to grab it later.

I use the nomatic packing cubes for my clothes when travelling so normally i just carry the travel pack for short work trips.

The travel pack also has a dedicated shoe compartment but doesn't look like the backpack here has that option. That's been handy as well.

All that said, even tho I love it my wife doesn't like it due to the weight. She went with a smaller osprey backpack since it was feather light.

It really comes down to do you really want/need the backpack to be waterproof (even the ykk zippers are waterproof). If so you'll end up with a heavier backpack like this one. If not I'm sure you could fine one that's lighter.

This was my favorite backpack ever. Used it for traveling, work, gym, etc. It was a sad day when the zippers just stopped working and it started to rip from the lining. 10/10 would buy again.
