So frustrating. I had a long comment all set to go but I dropped my mouse and lost it all. I'm going to call my cat. It's a caracal (not really). I hate commercials. I really hate the Verizon commerical and when people start screaming and wake everybody up. I hate the radio commercials where they say the phone number 10,000 times. Hulu at a buck is a great deal. I'm lucky that all I get on Hulu is a blank screen until the program comes back on. If you have unlimited money, then by all means pay extra and skip the commercials but if you're on a budget you have to save where you can.

A quick question on walking and I figure that you're a good person to ask.
I'm starting to have a lot of problems with my walks and I'm going to have to stop. It's too much wear and tear on my body and I'm getting a lot of chest pain in my incision area (which I think is from carrying things home from my shopping trips). Here's my question. The elevator is being repaired where I live so I have to walk up three flights of stairs. That gets me more tired than walking ten miles. If I had to walk up five flights, I'd probably go into cardiac arrest. Do you have any idea why walking up the stairs is so hard for me? I'll get out of breath and feel like I could fall backwards down them. I passed my stress test a few months ago so I shouldn't be having this problem. Any ideas?
The commercials are almost never captioned so they are wasted on me anyway.

I have a couple of guess about the stairs thing. The first guess would be it's simply not an activity that you are used to doing so it's more taxing on the body, just as most new activities tend to be until you build stamina. I dont do a ton of stairs in my day to day life so as much as I walk I am the same way. When we stay somewhere on vacation where I have to do a ton of stairs I notice that my calves start cramping up and that I need to be conscious about stretching them more frequently. So. please be aware of that. The other guess which has to do a bit with the breathing difficulties is maybe posture related. As in, maybe you are hunched over some and compressing your diaphragm. Maybe try taking the stairs (unladen with purchases lol), use the hand rails for safety and really focus on correct posture, even if you have to correct yourself after each step and/ or go really slowly. If you can, do this exercise several times a day, even if it's only one flight or partial flight, until you have trained yourself.

Ive dont some pretty extensive PT which has helped me a lot but I learned that the body will do things to compensate naturally that will set you into habits that may not be the best for long term use but because you have become used to them you continue them and have to unlearn them for the overall betterness of your body.

I think that the stairs are too stressful for my heart. I can handle mild exercise (walking) but not intense exercise (going up the stairs) even for a short period of time. I hope they hurry up and fix the elevator. It's taking forever. I mentioned the stairs thing to my cardiologist and neurologist six months ago and they didn't think it was a big deal. I had to walk up the stairs to both of their offices and I felt like I was going to pass out. I was on a blood thinner back then but I'm not now. The blood thinner makes any problem I have with exercise 10 times worse. On posture, I tend to always look down because I'm afraid of falling and breaking my hip again. There are so many cracks in the sidewalk that I have to do it. My walk is a little uneven due to my hip. One leg is a little shorter than the other one. I had some PT when they were treating me for vertigo. I should've continued with it because it was helping me (not for the vertigo but in general).

I got caught in a rainstorm today but I got my Red Bull and chips. The chips are going to be hard to find. They had a few with the rest of the chips and few on an endcap. Maybe 10 all total. Hopefully, there's more in the back or on an endcap that I missed. I have to go back to Vons later today so I'll check it out. Red Bull and the big bag of chips came out to 15 cents with the plastic bag. I somehow managed to keep everything dry on the walk home. I got soaked but I have a really good jacket that kept me warm.

Unreal. I've watched UFC for a long time but I've never seen a fight ended by a bite. It was a good one, too. A big bite mark on the guy's bicep. Both guys were undefeated so somebody had to bite the dust.

I hope it is not a fluke and maybe CVS finally got its head out of the sand and realized no paper ads is losing them business when there are many customers who don't use app/web to look at the ad...

This is a quote from another website and I agree 100%. I also wish that CVS would realize that many of their customers are older and want nothing to do with Ibotta. It would be nice to walk into the store, grab an ad, and get a good deal like in the old days. I don't understand why that's such a problem. CVS, can you explain it to me? You do your best to bring older customers into the store and then make it incredibly difficult for us to shop.

Monday MIGHT be a good day for chips.
We can add the offer until Sunday but have Monday to actually pick it up. If they stock on Monday. I'm not sure when chips are stocked- when I worked for SW, who stocks chips varied store to store -the night crew or swing shift.
My closest store's night crew starts about 9-10pm so that's when I usually check.

And SCO is still open.

CVS: it seems logical that we can complete a deal over the 2 week ad period, but I don't trust logic at CVS.
I found 2 Glucerna mini treats, need 3 to do the deal. I hid the 2 and waiting to see if I find one after the next truck or if I get to another store and find one. But wondering if I could have bought the 2 this week, and one next week.

Plus, I want to turn around and spend the 10ecb I earn immediately on dried cherries, which are showing OOS or 1 in local stores, and hoping they'll get more in so I don't have to go back.

Just here to say that each week of the CVS two week ad stands on its own. So if you buy two boxes one week, and the third box the second week, you won't earn ecbs in either week.

I did the deal 4 times today which wasn't easy since I'm walking and only have one store that I can go to. Nobody is getting the Red Bull. The chips are hidden. They're on an endcap (which I found this morning) and then somebody hid them behind some other chips (it wasn't me, really). I don't want the Red Bull (I can give it to a friend) but I'm always up for chips. I hope that my store didn't order in so much Red Bull because of my comments last week. They're going to be really upset that it didn't sell. It's not easy to do orders because you never know what's going to be hot. I don't have grocery experience like you do but I do have a lot of experience with my yard sale.

The real reason for the 2 week ad was to limit our digital coupons. If you think that CVS did it because they care about their employees, then I have some Soy Joy bars that I want to sell you. Trust me, they're really good...lol

LOL, I liked Soy Joy bars back in the day. But at this point any you have from when they were being sold would not be good.

You've told me that before but it was the funniest thing I could think of to put in there.

Speaking of odd tastes...

Remember those CVS antacids that they kept advertising as Chewy, Not Chalky? I preferred the chalky. Those things were gross but the tropical "chalky" antacids are yummy in my tummy. LOL

Not so fast in Minnesota. We've gotten around ten inches of snow all winter but today it's snowing fast and furious with eight inches predicted by tonight. Fortunately, then it's suppose to rain and with temps near 50 degrees tomorrow so hopefully it will all melt. Unfortunately, it put an end to plans I had for today.
