Hmm then this might by YMMV for some users, but $212.49 is a bit high. May I ask what you're trading in and if you're eligible for the EPP discounts (e.g. student/government/military/first responder?)
This is what shows for my discount breakdown under the total savings section at checkout:
Total Savings
$357.99
Trade-In Discount(s) - Galaxy Watch 5
-$200.00
Bundle Discount(s) - Basically a free watch strap
-$59.99
Government Savings - EPP Govt discount
-$18.00
Promo Code - GWNOVHL
-$80.00

I hope this works for you

For those unable to see it that low. Samsungs website is switching around promotions. This worked last week and now does not work this week. For those seeing 211. Refreshing your cart lowers the price. App works the best and automatically applies discount. I'm only seeing 158 this week.

Same price here, but with EDU:

Galaxy 6 (bluetooth/44mm)
$125 trade in-discount (watch4 44mm)
$20.25 Education Savings
$70 GWNOVHL promo code discount

Total before tax $114.74

Tried chat to see if they could sweeten the deal, but no dice. $114 is definitely not a bad price, but not sure if it's worth it as my watch4 still works fine.
How did you verify your student id? website is asking too many question's including ssn, did you do that? how safe it is?

Did anyone elses order details get changed after the fact? Originally I spoke to a rep to get a discount and received an initial price. I then asked the rep about trading a watch in and was told that the tradein value would be decreased due to the discount code already applied. My original order details reflected this with a $30 instant trade-in discount value. After paying and shipping the watch Samsung has changed my order details to remove the previous discounts and instead shows a $200 tradein discount. Originally I was planning to just eat the $30 and not send in a watch, but due to Samsung changing my order details they will bill me 200 instead.

Getting 144 for 6 classic 43mm with OG galaxy watch trade in. Good enough to switch? Love the OG watch though
I mean it's up to you, for me right now using the 4 the battery life I'm not a big fan so it is worth the upgrade imo.
Depends on what you are looking for but always using the newer will be better as long as you like the new features

oh nice! I just tested and it's same for Govt EPP! That's actually a really nice price on par with last years deal for the watch 5. Personally, I'd go with the classic because I miss the rotating bezel that much but $90 is a great deal for a smartwatch regardless.
Samsung smartwatch is the biggest waste of money I ever spent. The only feature I get from it is that 1/2 the time I can't tell what time it is because my watch battery is dead! Keeping the Smartwatch Bluetooth connected to my phone absolutly DESTROYS my phones battery! I will never buy another smart watch!

I'm sorry, It's been a while and I can't quite remember the process, but I'm pretty sure they did not ask for my SSN (which I would be reluctant to give to any company, including Samsung).

I verified mine through ID.ME, and yes they do ask for the SSN to ensure one account per person (and also to utilize certain government services). ID.ME does work together with certain state governments so yes it's safe

When you log into your Chase CC account you have to manually add it in. There's tons of stores you can choose from and add as many as you want.
That and make sure to use Paypal for payment has they have the 5% CB on that.

Actually, I kinda take that back on the paypal, it mentions that purchase needs to be directly with samsung, so when I purchase this watch using paypal, it will charge the chase card and the cc statment will show Paypal *Samsung instead of just Samsung. Will they deny my 15%?

I would think so. Cancel and reorder. If the website is even working.

Can't decide if I should get the 43mm or 47mm Watch6 classic; Think it's finally time to trade in the gear s3 classic.
