Yeah they were abysmal wait there was a 350 dollar free watch, and 550 for the pixel7 pro trade in making it a 900 value for a 999 dollar pixel 8 pro phone. So 100 bucks and tax to upgrade basically it really wasnt that bad.

Same here- My 7 pro Olive green color still looks brand new and functions perfect. Battery lasts through the day with a lot of usage. There is no point in trading it at this time or maybe even for another 3-4 years. In another few months Google may bring its new camera features to Pixel 7 Pro.

The inflated price of the watch was $350. So on paper you were getting $900 worth but in reality you were giving up on Pixel 7 Pro, still a great phone with excellent camera for a very low price. As in my case, my Pixel 7 Pro can be sold as new right now, and most likely the new camera features will be released for the 7 Pro in the next 4-6 months.

My wife's Pixel 4a 5G that I passed down when I got a Mint Mobile unlocked Pixel 7 works well enough that it is not worth trading in for $47. Plus I would need to buy another Spigen case.

There's no such thing as a good deal (Black Friday of not) on Pixels without a good trade-in offer, that's the truth. My Pixel barely feels like a flagship device; compared to the "Note" or "V" line that I used in the past. Pixels are not horrible, but I do feel like I over-paid for mine.

They'd better also bring back the Google Fi offer with 120 days active. Now all GFi must stay 2 years for the monthly bill credits.

Pixel Pro phones feel like they are worth $500-$600 max since moving to Tensor especially. Lots of issues that you don't get with other flagship phones in the $1000 price range.

Just got my Pixel 8 from the Google FI add line and get phone free deal, gotta say its a jolly good phone (upgrading from Pixel 5a)

Plenty of good cases and screen protectors available now as well. Can't go wrong

I'm wondering if this offer can be combined with the foogleFI offer 400 dollars off the pro, that will be a great deal, $400 for a pixel pro. I guess I will wait and see.

That's around what people should be paying for the Pro version ($550). If you're coming from a low-budget Pixel model, the upgrade is going to feel abismal; however, at $800 I think you're still over-paying. It's little things like not including video output over USB or Miracast for that matter (Pixel 8 Pro), that left me a little shocked to be honest.
