I just saw this, but as of this writing, the trade-in value for a pixel 7 pro is only $250, which is pretty sad for their most recent flagship phone!

It's the same story with the Nest Secure credit. They gave us a $200 credit for screwing us over but we can't use it on anything because they insist on applying their sale prices as "promo codes " and don't let you use more than one.

Before trading in for this I recommend doing a google search of Pixel 8 issues.. I've been down this road too many times. My 3xl lasted the longest but even it black screened never to come on again.

I actually just made the jump to Apple because of this.

My most recent p7 started having random Bluetooth issues. This is my third pixel and they've all had weird issues after a short amount of time. They offered me $200 for trade in. Meanwhile my mom's old iPhone 10 was worth $160.

I feel like Google is just making disposable hardware at this point. I like Android but it's not like iOS is unusable or really that different for daily use. And I find that most apps work better in iOS.

If you Google search any phone for issues, you're going to get a lot of results, not just pixel. I've had multiple pixels, starting with the 3xl and haven't had any problems.

Sigh... More over priced phones from a shitty company.

I've used google phones for a decade and Fi for almost as many years. $800 for a phone that will be selling for $500 in a few months is not a smart move IMO, but some may do it anyway

IMO, the problem starts at the top with that toxic Pichai dude, but I'm sure others are involved in the constant string of bad decisions. Here's to the chance that Google gets broken up into many pieces.....

Google literally has more hardware issues and failures than anyone else. It isn't even close. I love Pixel phones, have owned many of them, and have been burned with hardware failures each time. There are reviews warning about overheating and so many other issues with these phones.
