Exactly. I will normally avoid buying non-USB C devices nowadays, but for something that stays plugged in, I don't see the difference between micro USB vs any power adapter with a barrel jack.

It's plug in only so what's the big deal?

Edit: beat me to it.

I have gen 1 and gen 2. Gen 2 has noticeably better night vision.

actually you will get it why when you switch the old one with the new one. you don't need to re-wire the cable and keep using the old cable. such device is not like phone, charger that you carry everyday. switch it to type-c too quick for this is dumb especially when it doesn't need the feature of type-c

I logged in and tried the code and it didn't work at first. After leaving the cart and going back, it worked!
