No this is the second gen 4K. Theres the gen 1 4K stick that came out in 2018, then a gen 1 4K max stick that came out in 2021. Just recently they released the gen 2 4K stick and gen 4K max stick. The 2nd gen 4K max has 16GB and WiFi 6E. The 1st gen max only has 8GB and WiFi 6.

But Roku's are locked down and limited on what they can run. They definitely have their place for sure but it tends to be for older crowd because of the fact they just work with giant tiles.

They should probably focus on hardware upgrades on these over adding more features since Firesticks are notoriously slow, glitchy, and unusable, especially as they age. No reason to add more features if it doesn't work to begin with.
