Yes... just add/redeem the GC code to your Apple account balance, and the subscriptions, in app purchases, etc will be taken from that balance first. I've been doing that for Netflix and others for years.

Based on my experience, you can only use your Apple balance to buy Apple Care in store... not online or via any of your devices.

You can use apple balance on your account to buy anything at apple.com. I even use it to buy for the apple tv+.

Yes, you can. The limit -unless it's changed recently- of GCs total that you can add to your Apple balance is $2,000. If the item you want to buy with GCs is higher than $2,000, you can use your Apple balance and still add 8 separate GCs -again, unless it's changed recently- during check out. After all that, if you still have a balance, that's charged to a credit card.

I remember a lot of people have bought faked/scammed Apple GC at Target stores previous years- immediately after they purchased the card somehow was stolen over the air, and at the time of loading to their account the available balance became Zero!
