I once got a $1499 M1 iMac and a 150 dollar Apple gift card for 1169 after everything was done with a few of these deals together. IMO, only worth it if you enjoy the idea of sticking it to these giant faceless corporations. It was a huuuuuge pain in the ass

i been purchasing apple products for the past 6 years with 30% discounts just like these. 10% military discount, 15% GC discount, and 3%-5% credit cards discount. If you load your GC to your apple account "instantly" the moment you purchase them at target, you lower the chance of bots randomly picking your GC number from scamers online. So it is a game of speed. So remember to load your GC directly to your apple accounts "instantly" right after you purchase them. I buy 3-4 new iphones every year for myself and family this way for the past years. GLHF

Paying with giftcard balance is a hassle in apple.com. Had the issue three times now. Have to call multiple teams, then they have to forward the call to a different team, and that team has to validate the balance in the account. Post validation, it takes upto 48hrs to enable purchasing with loaded gift card balance. It took 24 hours for me post validation to purchase. Missed the phone in stock a couple of times.

For those of you who think of buying these at Target store, please be careful.

I bought 20 gift cards last Thanksgiving at the store totaling $2000. I went home to redeem them and apparently they were already redeemed. I was lucky. I took them back to Target store and told them what happened. Store manager came in and she gave approval to the clerks to refund me all of my $2000.

I was lucky that I had an understanding store manager. But I heard some weren't as lucky.

Stay away from the stores and buy them online from Target.com
