This is correct. It sucks. Target knows they have an issue with security of their gift cards in the store and they take away this feature.

Was able to grab 9 GC using 2 different accounts. No cancelations. My Apple account already has max limit to redeem. Will use the remaining not able to be redeemed at the Apple Store. This was a great deal if you got in around 3am once it started. All totaled 9 $100 Apple GC + 120 Target GC.

I purchased 20 this morning with the same red card and it stopped authorizing at the 21st because of the daily limit (I think it's 20/day). I was able to purchase 3 more 2 hours ago with the same red card, but the 4th one got canceled. I tried different accounts and cards, but all got canceled. Stuck at 23 now. I should have bought more this morning with a different card.

Anyone able to try this in-store yet? Target stores aren't open yet on the west coast, just seeing if anyone has been able to purchase more than 3 in-store (separate transactions of course).

Like everyone else, I was able to do 3 gift cards online. The 4th gets cancelled, even with a different account (but using the same Discover card). I even tried using the Target App with payment through Apple Pay, but that was also cancelled.
