Great price, the frother per my wife (who this is for)'s research isn't that great, but this is cheaper than most places sell it without the frother.

Depends what she is looking for or what the complaint is.it heats milk pretty well and produces a lot of froth. Can also use it as a cold frother. I remove the spring so it doesn't froth quite so much and have been happier with doing that.

I almost pulled the trigger since my wife has been wanting one bad, but this model only makes up to an 8oz cup of coffee. Knowing my wife she will want a model that goes up to 14oz.

Thanks, the frother she wants is only 40 bucks so if she ends up not liking the included one maybe I'll get that for her Birthday (only a couple months after xmas).

Got excited to try the new style pods, cant really tell a difference, went back to the originals.

The price for the pods are more than tipple for these, so unless you're a coffee snob, the original is a better long term buy.

Does anyone have experience doing the diy pod refills? I've heard from one friend that she has no problems, but I've read where several people said it messed up their machine. I recently dog sat for my daughter and fell in love with her Nespresso, but the pod prices are a lot more than I may want to pay. My household drinks a lot of coffee.

Coffee sizes are too small, otherwise I'd bite on the deal. 8oz max should be for mini models, not a Deluxe.
