Nice. In on the $100 Jiffy Lube for $65 deal. You can stack with the coupons on their website and it's super cheap for synthetic oil changes for me.

It is if you get deals like this. The advantage over walmart is that it's done in like 25 minutes and you are on your way.

I never tried oil change at jiffy lube. Is it cheap? I always go to Walmart

It's ridiculously over-priced. I used to use GC deals like this with their coupons, but it just brings price down to what should be normal spending IMO. Also, you don't always get good work. Last time, they jammed/over-tightened my oil drain plug, making it impossible to remove. I held them accountable, and it took them over 1 hour to remove it. I'm doing my own oil change now, and it's actually super easy and cheap. You can even buy Fumoto or similar plug to make it really easy each time (it's a twist valve system).

With the gift card and the 10 off 50 coupon in the App, there is no way I'm touching this price changing the oil myself. I use full 15w synthetic and this will be $39.75 at JL. My filter is $21 in the Honda

The trick is to buy your oil through rebate deals. You can get oil really cheap that way. Same for filters. There are rebates that come around for filters here and there (check manufacturers' websites). Your cost will be half of what you pay JL even after discounts.

It's the thing to do when the mechanic is pissed off and quitting. Cuz they know you won't be back for months and they will be long gone. Also they have been known to loctite a filter or 2 in place.
My skin crawls at places like these.
Walmart..... Mmmmmk, they ok ish.
I deal with OEM shops, or private Ma and Pa shop in the country. Or do the damn work myself.

midas near me has a $39.99 synthetic coupon pretty much non-stop. No hassle of buying a bunch of gift cards or downloading an app
