Lowest Price I've seen on a well rated air cooling solution for AMD AM4 AM5/Intel 1700/1150/1151/1200.
Hardware Cancuks review Ryzen air coolers saying this is one the best performing coolers and almost unbeatable at this price point. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R-wxHtELX5s

The phantom spirit matches or exceeds the noctua nh-d15 (noctua's current flagship model) in most circumstances. The videos linked by both the OP and I compare the phantom spirit against a variety of coolers, including the nh-d15. These comparisons are under standard mounting circumstances, I'm not sure how they compare when using noctua offset brackets. Either way, the best price a nh-d15 has been is ~$80, more than twice the price of the phantom spirit. While there are reasons to go with a noctua cooler, such as fan reliability and noctua's exceptional reputation for supporting coolers many years down the line, the price difference is far too stark to make it anywhere near worthwhile imo. Noctua plans to release a successor to the nh-d15 in 2024, it's possible that future cooler may offer significantly higher tier performance once it comes out.
I'd say so, Deepcool was the value king undercutting Noctua. Thermalright seems to be doing the same thing to Deepcool now. If you care more about the aesthetics deepcool fans are a better bet and they're also highly rated.

I've been using one for months now. I've had it on 5800X and 5800X3D systems. These CPU's are notorious for the heat they generate. With good case airflow, this tamed their heat. Gaming runs around 60C. Cinebench R23 multi-core maxes at 71C @16C ambient. (just ran a test). The only downside is that the fans emit a high pitched howl at max rpm. I swapped them out with some Antec Storm 2K RPM fans.
The tf7 thermal paste included with the phantom spirit is perfectly serviceable, so there's no need to purchase thermal paste. If you need a cpu cooler I highly recommend this one.

I have this cooler and it's amazing. I had a cool master liquid cooling running near max. Now my temp doesn't go over 65

these fans aren't the best, but even noctua gets loud at 100%.
but the cooler is so good that if you tune the fan curves they shouldn't need to spin fast.

Just buy it. Lol could be a nice stocking stuffer for Christmas.
I've owned the white one in my personal build for the past 6 months and it's been a rock solid performer.
I can barely hear it working even when stressing all the cores on my 3900x

Installed easily on a 5800X3D last week. Running cool and quiet. Great value highly recommend.

Also running with a 5800X3D and non-optimized airflow. Very satisfied with the performance and also ease of installation especially compared to Deepcool which has AWFUL mounting.

Did any of you (or anyone else) have trouble mounting the fans on the heatsink? I ordered one of these about a month ago, just opened the box a week ago, not sure if maybe there was a bad batch of them or if I just dont know what I'm doing. The fan mounting clips seem to be too big and dont hold the fans securely to the heatsink. When I stand the case upright, the front fan on the heatsink often falls off. I have another pc with a Peerless Assassin and didnt have any issues with it. Thermalright customer service asked for photos, then they say they dont see a problem, now they want a video. I'm inclined to just order another one, swap out the fan clips, and return it but with my luck it would be exactly the same.

It is worse noise normalized. Not really an upgrade imo.
