Ibuprofen (advil, mortin) hits your kidneys and is generally safer but has more concerns for your stomach if taken regularly. Diabetics and or those with kidney disease should monitor usage closely.
Be aware much of the cold/flu meds have acetaminophen in it, not to mention if you drink or binge drink you need to limit your tylenol.

1,200 mg is the adult daily limit for Ibuprofen.
Of course, as a disclaimer, speak to your physician for tailored recommendations for your own conditions, as these numbers are generic advice and may not apply to everybody.

Max dose for acetaminophen is still 4g, however there are many recommendations to stay on the lower end of 3g daily limit, especially for smaller bodies.
Of course, these doses are for adults of a minimum mass and not including comorbidities that can affect your max daily dose, like kidney disease.
