Requires AT&T service and phone payment plan. You may want to include that in your title.

Sorry, can you clarify that payoff and cancellation has to be done via calling VZ?

I was hoping it could be done online.
cancellation can be done through costumer service chat
but pay off the device first at Verizon Corporate Store, make sure its a corporate store though.

14+ and s23 seem like great deals.
The problem with this is getting it in stock. I hope they have a lot.

For the iPhone 13 deal, my local store still had quite a few with different colors in the afternoon of the last day.

Not sure if you can do port in because Verizon is offering $200 gift card for that. If this is stackable then it's really slick!

Interesting, I'll have to try chatting. It looks like your Welcome Unlimited plan was phased out earlier this year though and mine is I think 6 years old, so not sure they'll do it for such an old plan. I do see a current deal on their website for $830 trade in but it requires select unlimited plans. They'd really like me to upgrade because then I'd have to pay more lol, and it'll be even less soon since I should also have that loyalty $10/line kicking in as well. Worth trying though!

ETA: my plan is not eligible for any promotions according to Verizon, it is too old. I've heard of people being offered loyalty discounts that work with any plan but I have never been offered one unfortunately.
I am on the newest plan but the cheapest one. I was in your boat but decided to switch because the new plan was cheaper anyway. Worth taking a look at the newest plans. Only frustration with the cheap plan is being throttled in busy areas. Hoping part of my problem with that is I'm running an iPhone 11. If you chat today ask them if you buy from Walmart will they honor that 830 trade in? The higher plans will get you a $1000.

For a dummy like me who only uses T-Mobile prepaid and wants to stay on T-Mobile Prepaid, and doesn't wanna do trade-in, can someone check my process here?

1) Go in store to buy Verizon iPhone 15 Pro, activate in-store (what plan should I get), pay full price.
2) Wait for WM GC to arrive.
3) Cancel line within 3 days to get full refund
4) 60 days later iPhone Auto-unlocks (how does it know how to auto unlock if I don't have verizon anymore)?
5) Activate iPhone on T-Mobile

It didn't upgrade you to a current or recent unlimited plan? I've never been offered a single trade-in or deal from Verizon that didn't require upgrading to one of their current unlimited plans, and trust me I do check. If you are in fact able to get such a great trade-in deal with an old discontinued plan then I'm jealous as I've never ever been able to do that and I have 10 lines with them so spend a lot every month. How did you get this offer, was it targeted?
It didn't upgrade me to a current or recent unlimited plan; I'm still on the new Verizon unlimited plan. I have 9 lines (8 smartphones and one number share). It just showed up under my offers, but you have to scroll through the junk deals ("upgrade" your plan, etc) to see them. At first the $730 off showed up on all my lines, but currently is only showing up on two. The Verizon app main page also shows the $730 offer big and bold under the headline "Newphoria". Fingers crossed it is still there on 11/22 when this starts! Edit: fine print says Verizon doesn't start until 11/24 with a much lower gift card? I guess I'll just wait and see.

Thanks. For upgrade to existing lines too, correct?
Yes correct, you can upgrade existing lines too.

I have an old grandfathered ATT plan and these Walmart deals are the only ones that can upgrade my phone without modifying / changing my old plan. This is the only time of the year I can upgrade. Been doing this since 2017.

I do not trade in because the credits given will be billing credits and THAT will tie you up for 36 months.

Remember to cascade the gift cards, largest amount first if buying multiple phones and have them process them separately about 30 minutes apart. Watch your email containing the e-gift card number and PIN code after the first phone is processed and the taxes paid at the register. Then use it as a down payment during the processing of the second phone and so forth. This way at the end of the day, you have only 1 e-gift card to use up at Walmart in the future as you can't use them anywhere else.

Usually within minutes of paying the down payment amount plus taxes at the register. When they process the phone at the computer, they ask for your email address. This is the email address the e-gift card number and PIN is sent to. The longest I have waited is about 10 minutes when done at the store, but most of the time it was under 5 minutes.

2 years ago I did it online instead because I wanted a 512 gig phone (stores only carry 128/256) and that e-gift card did not arrive until about 2 weeks after the phone got activated. I was worried for a while, but it came through.

Thanks. I think i can only slightly tolerate shopping at Walmart, online at that. I guess you go in. Do you have to spend the day there if buying multiple phones?

I'd gladly pay someone $100 for that task.
