1. Trade in device and use that credit to pay off phone in 36months while keeping phone plan. For UU on verizon this comes up to (100avg x 36) - 300 Walmart GC
2. No trade in, but pay off phone immediately within 3 days of receiving to avoid activation fees. For the iphone 15 pro, this comes up to be 999- 300 Walmart GC regardless what plan you choose.
Follow steps included this wiki to port out your locked device to other carrier.
I have no horse in this race but here is the email you get from Walmart. Watch your SPAM FOLDERS.

AT&T details
Order/cancel? Activation starts on ship date (or store activation date). AT&T does not prorate after 3 days, so if you don't receive the device by the 3rd day you have to pay for the entire month of service.
To get the activation fees waived (if you're not cancelling within 3 days) be sure to sign up for AARP. It can be free or almost free

- Contact AT&T over chat and ask them to waive your activation fee since it's an AARP benefit. This will save $35/line.
- Set up autopay from att.com or MyAtt app to save $10/line/month (debit; or credit -$5/month).
- Do you have AT&T fiber home internet? Contact AT&T over chat to "bundle" home internet plus wireless for a $20/month discount. You can also sign up for home internet after getting wireless to receive the same $20/month discount. There are loads of sign-up offers include $350 gift card back for new customers https://slickdeals.net/f/17073514-new-at-t-fiber-customers-purchase-at-t-fiber-internet-plan-300mbps-get-up-to-350-in-reward-cards-or-logitech-g-cloud-gaming-handheld-device-6-200-reward-card
- Pay off installment plan from MyAtt app or at att.com. You can do this as soon as activated/device ships.
- Turn on iPhone and let it activate with the pushed AT&T eSim (should be automatic once connected to wifi). Make a phone call.
- Transfer the AT&T eSim to another unlocked iPhone. "Use eSIM Quick Transfer on iPhone" Procedure https://support.apple.c
om/en-us/HT212780
- Make a call on the unlocked iPhone. Check in myAtt or att.com and check every few minutes until the unlocked iPhone shows up in your account as your device.
- Request unlock https://www.att.com/deviceunlock/ as a non-ATT customer, with non-ATT phone# and email for the new iPhone
- Check email and click to acknowledge unlock request. May take a few minutes to receive this.
- Wait for unlock approval email. It could take only a few minutes or up to a day
- new iPhone will be unlocked once you try a different provider eSIM. You can either use a new eSIM or transfer one from your other iPhone.
- If you want to, cancel AT&T service over chat or phone so that you don't go beyond 3 days post activation. If you instead want to keep the service, do everything I mentioned above to bring your monthly cost down.
Edit: AT&T chat is closed on the weekend I called reseller support and they refused to cancel the line and said I had to wait 30 days. I had to port out to another carrier.- Call *PORT on the new iPhone to get a porting pin. You also need your wireless account number (displayed when you login to att.com).
- I had a great experience porting to usmobile.com for their 50 day free trial. Just sign up and fill out the details including port (AT&T Postpaid, account number, port pin). Transfer completed in minutes!
Verizon details
- check out the recent iPhone 13 community wiki on unlock (60 days on iPhone 14/15!), pay off, 3 day rule etc. for Verizon
https://slickdeals.net/f/17028796-verizon-or-at-t-128gb-apple-iphone-13-new-or-added-line-8-30-mo-for-36-months-299-total-more-free-s-h
- We haven't found a way to unlock the iPhone 14/15 like we did the 13 because it has an eSIM assigned that gets activated on boot, and no physical SIM card. Also the phones are showing Verizon locked and not flex reseller policy. It will automatically unlock 60 days post activation however.

Plan is to cancel the line before receiving it on Monday 27th.. is it possible ? Tia
What worked for me is to use 800-837-4966 from a different phone (this may not be necessary but it's what worked for me)
Enter phone number and PIN when prompted
Say "pay off device" when prompted
It will tell you what you owe
Then it will ask if you want a human to handle the payment for extra $10, press 1 to stick to automated system when prompted.
At this point it told me multiple times I couldn't make a payment until late December. I kept trying until it accepted the payment and it went through and gave me a confirmation number. Also received an email at that point.
Then I chatted online with a live rep to cancel line. Looks like $35 activation fee is credited.
All good !!
I have 3 lines and would like to add 1 more line
I have 3 Good phones and 1 iPhone SE 1st gen unlocked phone not on any plan used to work on Verizon
Don't want to change Verizon unlimited plan
I want to trade in iPhone SE for new iPhone
I would like to use that phone and give my existing phone to newly added line
Is there any way I can do this?

I'm in a situation where I'm being forced to move from a grand-fathered ATT plan to something on the Verizon network due to lack of AT&T cell coverage in a recently purchased home. I have been waiting for BF deals and have been planning to get a Trade In deal from Verizon similar to offers they have run in years past.
I went back and forth over the last few days on whether to attempt stacking the WM GC deal and the Verizon Trade-in (plus eventual number port CB), just go straight to Verizon for either the $830 or $1000 CB per line, or try to find a Costco in driving distance that sells Verizon service to do a 800-1000 TI CB + Costco CG.
So, after scanning through 2000+ posts on last years WM BF thread as well as another ~1000 or so similar posts from more recent threads, I decided to attempt the WM CB + Verizon TI CB stack.
Early this AM I went to a local WM that I knew had the phones in stock I wanted to purchase. (I talked to local wireless manager Wed night about inventory across his 4 stores.)
I bought two 15 Pro Maxes and a 15 pro this morning. They rang up each phone (taxes) separately. I got emails w/ links to individual $300 GCs within minutes of checking out (and them activating) each phone.
To give my self a back out plan (cell phone return) if the Verizon direct TI's options didn't work out:
1.) I requested new phone numbers rather than port immediately. (I now have ~15 days to port my ATT numbers.)
2.) I left the GCs unused rather than using 2 of them to pay down 2 of the phones. They assuming I would want to pay down two of the phones, but mentioned use of the GCs would block me from returning the phones. (Seems like there would be a way around this, but I didn't want to argue the point... and I didn't want to make a potential return any more difficult than it had to be.)
They activated the phones in store, made test calls, etc. I also had to create a Verizon online account in store as part of the first phone activation.
I chose to place all three phones on the middle tier unlimited plan which I believe is a requirement for the special - $830 any iPhone device trade in. The top tier (Unlimited Ultimate) allows for up to $1000 TI... but the math didn't work out for my situation and I didn't need the extras of the UU plan.
Once I got home, I went to https://www.verizon.com/trade-in and signed in with my new VZ account. I scrolled down to the trade-in options and went through device selection to trade in an iPhone 6, 6s plus, and 7 plus but ran into problems.
After a phone call with support and working through various issues, I ended up with 3 separate $830 CB offers.
While work through issues with the TI process for 3 old iPhone:
1.) I found out that each trade in had to be completed separately, end to end. I made the mistake of trying to add multiple devices to the same offer, which yielded nearly no credit for each additional older phone added.
2.) There was an odd lower left menu button I had to click a time or two and also needed to read/agree to terms of the trade in before the TI process was complete for each phone / TI offer.
3.) I also found the device condition process can get hosed up / stuck if you go back and forth changing device condition options. (One of my trade ins had a battery and screen issue... I wanted to see if I could get by with self repairing one or the other rather than fix both or trade other newer spare Phones. For this TI, I had to sign out, try different computers, etc. and eventually used a different PC to clean out an in progress "device trade in" in my "cart". In the end I was able to select the option for damaged screen only. If I had spent more time on it, I might have been able to select swollen battery also... but it was easier to just order a cheap replacement battery from amazon and swap it out. The battery had swollen so much that the top of the LCD / face of phone had separated from the phone nearly and inch while this phone was in storage... so much so that one of the ribbon cables for 1/2 of the LCD was torn.)
Also worth noting - Per info in other threads - You don't get the full TI options I mention until you have logged into an account that has these offers available to them... and brand new accounts with brand new lines of service do qualify... at least they did today for my situation.
Yes, it does appear you can stack the WM GC deal with the Verizon Trade In offer.
Others have stated you can take the devices to your local VZ store for trade in. I initiated 3 trade-ins via the online method.
To test this out yourself - goto https://www.verizon.com/trade-in and log with the account that has your WM *ACTIVATED* lines of service. If you had phones shipped - They may or may not have been 100% activated prior to shipping. There were issues with this in years past. If you don't get the offers for TI (yet), wait for your phone(s) to arrive and make sure it / they are 100% functional via test calls both to and from the phone.
Once you have lines of service that qualify for the $830 or $1000 TI credits spread over 36 months, you will be able to select old phones that qualify for full credit. The selection process can be confusing at times... and your browser cache can hose things up for a complicated TI. See my post above for what I discovered via trial and error.
As part of the online trade-in selection process, you will be asked if you want to take the devices to store or ship back... Everyone recommends taking to a store yourself.
I'll be taking mine in to drop off tomorrow if things work out as planned. The TI "agreement" paperwork states you have up to 30 days to return the TIs.
