- Pay off installment plan from MyAtt app or at att.com. You can do this as soon as activated/device ships.
- Turn on iPhone and let it activate with the pushed AT&T eSim (should be automatic once connected to wifi). Make a phone call.

Edit: AT&T chat is closed on the weekend I called reseller support and they refused to cancel the line and said I had to wait 30 days. I had to port out to another carrier.- Call *PORT on the new iPhone to get a porting pin. You also need your wireless account number (displayed when you login to att.com).
- I had a great experience porting to usmobile.com for their 50 day free trial. Just sign up and fill out the details including port (AT&T Postpaid, account number, port pin). Transfer completed in minutes!

- We haven't found a way to unlock the iPhone 14/15 like we did the 13 because it has an eSIM assigned that gets activated on boot, and no physical SIM card. Also the phones are showing Verizon locked and not flex reseller policy. It will automatically unlock 60 days post activation however.

i dont know why the rep would remove the IMEI of ATT database. Normaly when the phone turn on and activate, the IMEI will register in ATT network and it only get removed if you decide to return the phone within 14 days. it would be much easier if you have a QR code of the eSim.
it is easy to transfer from Android to iPhone but transfer back from iPhone --> Adnroid requires QR code.
if you want to try. Transfer the eSim back to the iPhone, then make a couple of call, text. make sure it appears on myATT again. then go back to store and ask them to give you the QR of the sim instead of doing it for you. then we do the eSim swap again. it is a lot of work so maybe wait till tomorrow and try to submit the request again as ATT system will lock you out for 24hr if you got 2 denied on a row.
Seems like ATT definitely locked me out of transferring sim online, so I cant transfer back to the iPhone to reregister the sim. I do not want to go to store again to do it. Might have to wait 24 hours and try again

My account also seems to be locked out of BYOD IMEI transfer, was going to put IMEI in of iPhone to see if it accepts itIts letting be activate the iPhone from the MyATT app, not on desktop browser but did not go through with it yet, Im tempted to try unlock one more time but I think it will lock me outWe were able to unlock both our devices. We are still in the process of canceling the lines.

New phone's IMEI. ip14 or 14 pro etc.
And next questions will be like name, Phone no. Email id etc. - these should be different than the ones used while buying the phone and during activation.
