Requires AT&T service and phone payment plan. You may want to include that in your title.

So the phone I received was not activated on any carrier. Upon checking on sickw.com it mentioned that it is US flex reseller policy. This means that walmart did not activate the device (not shown on the verizon account). I was connected to wifi when turned the device on, fwiw.

Later today, i activated h2owireless on another iphone, tried to do a esim activation from nearby phone, but did not work. As I am not in hurry, signed up for free trial, which activTed the phone on verizon. So, after 60 days it should unlock.
If you bought 2 new iPhones, try assigning the h2o esim to the new iPhone imei (from h2o website). Then activate it on the h2o esim.

Idea: Once I did a sim swap at an AT&T retail store (with a demo phone). Find a store with iPhones you can play with, if any still exist. You can do the nearby eSIM transfer right there, then flip it back before you leave.

Edit: This would probably be easy to pull off at an Apple store? "I just want to see what the eSIM transfer process is like if I get a new iPhone!" laugh out loud
I'm not sure if this gains anything as the iPhone will only be off the account for short time. Might as well just go to corporate store and swap to s22

I just recieved my S23+ today. However, there is no literature on the trade-in return process... would I have to call ATT to arrange for it ?

Did anyone try the gift card offer with a TMO eligible line upgrade so you can upgrade your existing device on the same line with TMO? I tried doing this quite a few times in-store and there was always an issue at checkout that said the "sorry order cannot go through walmart. Please contact TMO or customer service for help". But TMO didn't have anything to do with the walmart offer and my phone is fully paid off and eligible for an upgrade but still wasn't able to get the new phone with walmart! Any inputs on this or what I could do please?

For people visiting stores recently they still have inventory or are most stores OOS at this point? I'm reading as many comments/instructions as I can but it's 130 pages of comments at this point
The promotion ends Dec 3. I have an appointment for the last phone of a particular kind at my local store, but YMMV depending on the store's stock. The employee who reserved the time for me told me they have everything in black, but all other colors sold out.

Did anyone who upgraded on Verizon plan trade in their devices? If yes, did you do it online or in store? Process?
I've tried to drop off the trade in phones at 2 Verizon stores with no luck.

TIA

If you go in settings it will tell you if it is Sim Restricted, if it is you must wait the 60 days.

What service plan? Some plans are not qualified for the promotion.

I have the highest plan on TMO service which is the GoPlus 5G and TMO clearly told me that I am eligible for the upgrade but not sure why it wasn't working with walmart promotion.

Same happened with me as well! Are you getting the "Sorry your order cannot be processed by walmart" issue as well?
