Requires AT&T service and phone payment plan. You may want to include that in your title.

Did anyone try the gift card offer with a TMO eligible line upgrade so you can upgrade your existing device on the same line with TMO? I tried doing this quite a few times in-store and there was always an issue at checkout that said the "sorry order cannot go through walmart. Please contact TMO or customer service for help". But TMO didn't have anything to do with the walmart offer and my phone is fully paid off and eligible for an upgrade but still wasn't able to get the new phone with walmart! Any inputs on this or what I could do please?
I believe t-mobile promotions ended yesterday. I chatted today with CSR on Facebook and they said they are not participating in any promotions at Walmart

New line or upgrade
Upgrade as in line upgrade (for example. 3gb shared plan to an unlimited plan), not a phone upgrade?

Does att.com (or myatt) show the new iPhone as paid off / upgrade eligible?

Move the eSIM back to the new iPhone. Leave it there for some time, make calls, use data etc. after an hour or so swap the eSIM back to the unlocked iPhone, make a call there. Wait 30 minutes then try the unlock request again.

Yes hopefully the corporate store doesn't delete the iPhone again. Worst case you can stay/wait 60 days and get it unlocked based on their official policy.

Yeah but I am guessing it goes into 3rd month because there were some days the s22 was active

Is it weird that I don't see a bill yet on my account. I order the phone about a week ago ago, shipped last Thursday

I paid off the iPhone 14 plus and cancelled the Verizon service, and the device is supposed to be unlocked after 60 days (late January). If I bring the phone to another country, will it be unlocked automatically after the 60 day mark (does it the phone have to be inside U.S. to get unlocked from Verizon)? Anyone happen to know the answer to this question? Thanks!

The requirement is that the line is active 60 days not that the phone has to be on that line for 60. Since you paid off the phone it's possible it's unlock eligible after the next bill.

I don't think its likely that the store deleted the iPhone, I think it is more likely that Walmart failed to register the IMEI in the ATT database when the phone was sold

How can that be if the phone auto-activated on AT&T when you first booted up?

If you can make a call using the new iPhone then your imei is in the AT&T database.

Edit: you used to be able to call (or chat) to swap a device on a line. Try the chat "swap device " and see if it will accept a new imei (your Samsung)? If it goes through, check in myatt app and see if it will push an eSIM to it.

Dial 611 and say pay off device, make sure to add a payment method in your account first.
