Do NOT BUY THIS!! last christmas I bought this exact one within 2 to 4 months it will fail!. There's various issues, Mine was that the door sensor didn't work so it always thought the the door was open so it wouldn't function! this happened in less than 3 months.

terrible customer service.. terrible products.

Looks like it's very unreliable. Almost half the reviews are about it breaking within a few months.

We bought this last Christmas around the same price and use it basically daily, sometimes for multiple meals a day. It is still going strong for us!
We did buy the three-year extended warranty plan, just in case.

We bought this last Christmas around the same price and use it basically daily, sometimes for multiple meals a day. It is still going strong for us!
We did buy the three-year extended warranty plan, just in case.

Might be better 7 qt from Costco. You can return it if it breaks within 2 years.

Damn, 465 (or 31%) one star reviews. Seems like a popular seller with over 1500 reviews, but the number of 1 star reviews is pretty bad in comparison with other air fryers that have a comparable number of total reviews. Makes me wonder if there was a design or manufacturing flaw with these.

I bought this last X'mas also. The main problem I have is the plastic smell on the first few times of usage. I would never buy another air fryer or toaster with plastic exterior case again. There's plenty of model that cost slightly more that is all metal construction

I had a similar one by Instant Brands: Instant Vortex Plus. Sounds like a similar experience but in my case the LED failed after a while (to the point that it was impossible to read anything). Instant Brands replaced it once with another of the same (rather than the Pro, which I think doesn't have these issues) and the same problem came up again eventually. They wouldn't stand behind it and do the right thing to replace it. It ended up in the landfill and now I have a Gourmia analog dial air fryer to hold me over. I'm still looking for something with a rotisserie function but it's tough to find anything *reliable*

Thanks for the warning on this - I know to avoid it now.

Partially agree-
My unit died at about 6 months.
However, CS was Awesome! Did a chat, told them what was wrong, and they offered to either send me a check or another unit.
The only caveat was that I had to send a picture of my broken unit with the Power Cord cut. (No big deal, the thing didn't work.)
Got the new one in about 3 days.

Bought this last Thanksgiving and it works great. Not sure if you got a bad one or if I just got lucky with mine. I use it often by the way.
