I agree. All these reviews appeared on the same day - 15th to 17th of this month, despite some reviewers claiming they've had it for a while. They all suddenly decided to review it at the same time? Also, I think this machine is for sale only at Walmart and it hasn't been available for sale there yet. It appears very suspect to me.
Walmart has a review program (I think it's called Spark or something like that) where they offer new products to users in exchange for their feedback. It seems like they often do that ahead of a new model number release so that there will be some reviews in place as soon as it becomes available to order. Now obviously, such users would probably tend to score promotional products higher than regular purchases, but that may explain where the reviews came from. I doubt they would have had the product for very long, but WM could have sent them out a while ago and only set up the product / review page last week as part of the Black Friday ads. It probably hasn't been sold in stores prior to this event.

Walmart marks those as incentivized reviews, that's not the case here. They should really tell people that there was money involved.

Maybe. You never can tell with reviews, but I only see a single review with %26 in it (although it appears several times in that review). It looks like the reviewer probably typed the ampersand and it was replaced by %26, which can also happen when entering some special characters, depending on the way the page is coded, browser used, or certain other unusual circumstances.

Edit: I see the %26 in a second review now and it does seem to appear in place the ampersand, as that user was referencing the product name, which includes one (Latte & Americano Maker).

Maybe try leaving a review of your own and include the ampersand character to see if it also ends up as %26 ?
Yeah I think that's what might be happening. I will withdraw that conspiracy theory.

Debating between gourmia and farberware expresso machine. Both cost 50 bucks. Gourmia has automatic frothing.

Milk cleaning . Use a frother wand

Cleaning is the problem. There are better ways without cleaning tubes

Edit: I just realized mine is the XL version, but they look exactly the same.

I have the air fryer, it works well and is very roomy. I only wish the keypad was backlit. $50 is a great price for it too.

How is that "air fryer" different than a convection toaster oven???

I like that air fryer but all those reviews came up on the 15 and 16 of this month and that looks super sketchy

Wasdn't this the same exact model that was $70 and went Front Page a few weeks ago when sold at Kohl's? OR am I mistaken?

You might be right, I just realized the one I have is the XL, which is bigger. But looks exactly the same. The XL is $119 at Costco right now. I got mine for $50 off Craigslist.

They're all the same. Air fryers are convection ovens in a basket shape.

BINGO...it's only $50 but probably is using subpar parts ( maybe toxic), with no tech or warranty support.
I aint going to pay $50 for a headache
Hard pass

lol toxic yes, they are going to release the good drugs to us for $50.

the truth is that every black friday, Walmart/Target/BJs all the major stores, request "custom black friday" products made from off the shelf parts in order to be sold for cheap. Every black friday.

Will this be anything compared to a $300-$600 espresso machine no? Will it be comparable to a Moka Pot or K-Cup Machine? Yes

This is the same dilemma people have every time there is a TV on sale for $100, when there are options for $1000. Just keep scrolling with your aluminum hat LOL
