I've been following this thread because I'm in the same boat as a couple of people on here. I have the plus subscription from last year for Netflix and mine's going to run out on the 14th I've already canceled it I dug around on the site in the terms and here's the fine print I came up with and it doesn't mention anything about getting rid of your current phone plan and having to upgrade to a new one you just have to be a current Verizon Mobile customer and to make sure that your old plan is canceled or has ran out without being renewed. Here it is:

If you have an existing Netflix account that was not purchased on +play, you can link it to this offer as described in Netflix service terms below. If you are currently enrolled in Netflix through +play, you will need to cancel your current subscription and reach the end of the billing cycle in order to subscribe to the Bundle Subscription. If you are currently enrolled in either the "Buy one, get one free" or "12 months Netflix on us" Netflix promotions offered through +play, you will not be eligible for this Bundle Subscription until your current Netflix promotion expires.

Offer ends on December 28 according to the terms. Good news for those of us who have a little time left on our current subscription.

Once you activate Netflix, it stays active until the end of the year Sub, whether you have Verizon or not. I did this deal last year and switched to FirstNet months ago. Still have Netflix until next month. just make sure you turn off auto renewal.

This doesn't work if you already have game pass ultimate?
You can't add it on your existing subscription and extend it?

I did not see it on there and I am still using last years promo. Maybe I have to wait for it to expire?

I have the same question, I see it in the article but can't locate it anywhere in the app or on their website - does anyone have a long to this deal?

They probably mean 1 Netflix promotion at a time per Verizon account. Not 1 and done.
It's actually 1 and done. You cannot get a second year free on the same Verizon account.

Spoke with Verizon representative, it seems that there is some issue from their end and hence this offer is not yet live

I spoke with Verizon, and it says you have to have myPlan to use it. And for me, that may mean you loose the free Disney+ & Apple Music.

I have both old plans and new plans on my account, wouldn't you be able to sign up for it on the myplan phone number?

You would think you can. I don't want to do that with ours though.

"you will not be eligible for this Bundle Subscription until your current Netflix promotion expires" seems to imply that the offer isn't 1 and done.

It would appear so I read through all the terms twice and I think we'll be fine I'll know more for sure after the 14th and I'll post it back here.

I take it this is still not up and running. Even when go to the Verizon website and do not log in, there's no mention of it on the Play+ page.

Seeing, or in this case - not seeing, the same thing. Someone might want to report the deal expired..but it doesn't seem like it was ever active.
