Still want the AirPods Max but know gen 2 is somewhere in 2024. Just want it for all the trips I have coming up in the next month. Can't decide.

Anyone experienced can't pick up, only eligible for delivery? I'm using apple account balance (topped up using apple gift cards). But failed to place pick-up order. Called apple support, they have no clue.

Lame. Would only save like $30 over EDU pricing for an upgraded m2 air 13 and then have another gift card balance I don't really use.

You unfortunately have to call to get Apple's "price match" and tell them you found a better price at XYZ merchant and they will look up the merchant and say what they can do. Then if you're alright with their price match, you can order directly from them over the phone. FYI I'd just add the gift cards to your Apple account beforehand to make it much easier (which is what I did) and in my case they immediately said "Oh I see you have $528 in gift cards applied, do you want to use all, some or none of the balance".

I called for the price match, they say they do price match but only upto 10% and it does not stack with the promotional offers. So, depending on what you're ordering, it might just make sense to stick with the GC that they're giving out.

Personally, I didn't find a better price for iPad Pro M2 11inch. Costco is the only one that has it for $699 (excluding sold-out Sam's Club and AAFES) and this is the same price at Apple but with a sweeter deal due to all the BestBuy / Target / Amazon Apple GCs.

I've got wireless headphones, which work great, but if it's raining, they don't exactly fit under my hat, and I HATE sticking things in my ears, so if I'm going to get smaller earbuds to just use when it rains, I'm not gonna spend $100+ on them, so the USB-C wired earpods (they call them earpods now, not earbuds) seemed like a good option for me.

I came here literally to suggest this. Was gonna help my mom buy a new iPad Air, and by stacking the 3 gift cards to my Apple Wallet balance, I should get $45 total worth of Target/Best Buy/Amazon credit plus the $75 Apple gift card. Seems Slick-worthy for me.

I have a question for the PROs:
If I have Apple price match with another store like Walmart, do I lose the GC from Apple?
I have my eyes on the Airpod (3rd gen) with lightning charger for my daughter. It's $139 at Walmart. So it's $30 cheaper than Apple store. The main reason I like to buy it from Apple store is I have $100 Apple GC that I like to use. It will be slick for me if I can have them price match to Walmart and still receive their $25GC.
