It's pretty good. It's smaller scale than other Final Fantasies since it's just a side game and does feel somewhat dated, because it was originally a PSP game, but they did a good job remaking it. It's worth a play. $20 would be better, but this isn't bad.
The story is... eh. Genesis is a love/hate character and I am oh-so-firmly in the hate camp. The very definition of a one-note villain.
There are some awkward and just straight up bad gameplay beats, and the dumb parts of the story wore me down to the point where I had to put the game down, but I'd still say I got my money's worth out of it.
So, I guess it's good enough for this price point. Don't expect a masterpiece.

Soon I hope.

You must've missed it: it was $15 on Amazon about a month ago (EDIT: nevermind. It was $25, but I used the $10 Discover card promo to make it $15. my bad). I really liked FF7 remake, so I picked this up and just started playing it a couple of days ago.
I'm only a couple of hours in, but so far, it feels like a poor man's version of FF7 Remake. It's OK, but not amazing. I don't have a ton of time for video games these days so I'm kinda selective, but I still plan to continue giving this one a go for a while longer.
