Same! Especially since the rest of the FF7 games (remakes) are only on PS5. Hate to see exclusive deals like that for 3rd party games!

Just beat this game this morning. Disappointed how short the main game is. Dungeons are really small. 90% of the game is grinding away in the never-ending side missions. I'd hold until $20.

I played this for a few hours before I quit. I think if you're a fan of the original, you'll love this version, improved in almost every way. Personally, I got bored after a few hours, not that it's a bad game. I just thought the controls were clunky and not satisfying during combat.

While this is a really good remaster/remake since they've done a lot of huge improvements, the fame doesn't hold up well.

Not only is the original game 15 years old, it was made for PSP and the game was designed for short play sessions and had serious limitations. This doesn't work so well in modern times on current gen hardware.

I also think (and this is personal opinion) the story and writing aged even worse, and the one negative change is the voice acting (it's worse than the original).

Agree. The writing just didn't age well honestly. It was a decent playthrough, but I couldn't get into it really.

The thing is Xbox sucks. The fact that they use AA batteries for the controllers still and the UI sucks as well. Gamepass isn't even that good. Also it can't even play all the older Xbox titles unless it's in the store.
