If the M32U gets under this price, buy that instead, this monitor is vastly overated, and was wildly overpriced till now.

Amazing monitor. I loved the colors of the display. Very vibrant. I bought at great discount at LG. Issue I had was very noticeable pinkish on right and greenish on left. I tried to get exchange but couldn't so got refund. Seems to happen to others if google this monitor. I think relates to BOE panel. I noticed it while I open Google website. Really nice monitor and color. I just couldn't ignore the left and right side issue. If I didn't get an ultrawide recently, I'd probably have tried again with this deal. Also I was told there is fan inside, but I couldn't hear it, so i didn't realize there was a fan. Still amazing monitor, even compared to 32GQ950. I'd choose 32GR93U. I didn't see blooming or backlight bleed, just dimmer corners.

Seems like a pretty good deal, why isn't it getting more love.

Where are you getting a better 32 inch 4k 144hz monitor?

Same thoughts here. I already have 2 LG 32" 4K 60hz IPS monitors I use in a dual monitor setup that I use with both Mac & Windows. Just got a PS5 Slim and figured instead of messing up with my dual monitor setup.. why not get a 3rd LG 32" 4K IPS monitor.. but get one that is dedicated to gaming with the 144hz.

It's crazy how much the price of this has already dropped. Appears it's $800-900 this summer.. and now it's down to $550 on Amazon, Best Buy, and LG.com with free shipping.

I bought this a few days ago for this price. It fit a specific need I needed a monitor that was well suited for productivity and gaming and this fit the bill.

32" is right at the edge of where I'd want to be for a work monitor and perfect for gaming. So far no pink or green screens. It's an IPS and it's clearly lacking contrast which I knew going in. If I were looking for a pure gaming monitor I probably would go with the odyssey g7 instead.

This replaced a dual setup of a 27 and 22" monitor. Text is crisp and clear. It has a great response time and gaming motion is fantastic.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think this one does full HDMI 2.1 which helps with PS5 which doesn't do DSC? M32U doesn't. If you're only going to use PC I don't think that matters though.

I'd rather spend $50 more and get the Dell G3223Q.

Care to explain? I'm in the market for a monitor and would like to see my options.

I don't own either, so I'm just going off specs and personal brand experience.
They're very similar spec wise, with maybe the Dell having slightly better picture quality/colors, and better build quality/stand. But for me it comes down to Dell vs LG. I've owned various non gaming monitors from both Dell and LG ranging from mid range to top of the line, and the Dells have overall been better. Better build quality, reliability, and Dell just has an overall better track record IMO.

Comparison:

That being said, I would take a 32" 4k LG OLED in a heartbeat if one ever comes out.

Either monitor will be a good choice. Dell and LG mid range monitors are both well built.

A few things that may sway your opinion.

If you're not going to get a monitor arm the Dell is not nearly as adjustable as the LG and the stand does not have a gap so it takes up more space..

Performance wise the dell is unable to reach the full 48Gbps on the hdmi 2.1 ports which is why I chose the LG.

The Dell out of the box is a bit more accurate than the LG. If you do color critical work every little bit matters. If not you'll never notice, and the accuracy differences will not be perceived by your eye at all.

If these items don't matter then it's a coinflip and a decision to spend $50 more or not.
