Bought the Q Revo a few months ago when it was on sale for $800 and it is completely worth it in my opinion. We moved into a home with hardwood floors and we run it every two days. It does a fantastic job picking up regular dust and sweeps pretty well into the corners. The lidar and tracking system is very accurate and you can even program it to clean in the same orientation as your hardwood floors per each room. I especially like that it vacuums and mops in hard to reach places like under the bed and couch.

We do spend about 3 mins in the morning picking things off the ground so the Revo can do a thorough job cleaning the rooms. We have yet to change the vacuum bag and adding more water and dumping the dirty water is done about once a week. We can tell that the mopping function is doing its job well because before the used water used to be pretty dirty, but quickly it's turned into just slightly murky water due to its constant use. Once a month or two months it notifies you that the cleaning/drying tray should be cleaned, which is just running it through water.

What I don't like about it is that it doesn't do a good job tracking cords and sometimes gets caught up and stops. We've fixed that problem by taping the cords to the walls.

Can we do a better job vacuuming and mopping manually? Of course... But we don't clean every two days and with both parents working and having a 2.5 yo child, the revo has been very helpful to our family.

As I said, it's not for you, so don't buy it. It's that simple. Not sure why you are being so argumentative.

Purchased the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra and has been amazed so far. I was pretty skeptical about these robots but I did a bit of research and it truly is mind blowing how well it works. Even the mopping feature with just water cleans my wood floors so well. Have a baby coming so I want my floors always clean.

I'm making sure I'm doing in depth testing with this thing to see if I want to keep and so far it looks like it's staying. Everything from mapping my house, vacuuming, mopping, routines have been great. Happy with my purchase so far

I dropped high end plan and picked up Q revo. I do not feel broken if it does not work as expected.

I was considering buying Q Revo but on amazon i see 9% have give it 1 star and some reallly poor reviews mentioning mop is not good enough, requires cleaning/replacing mop, not good for carpet and what not.

I see its gaining lot of popularity here, but on amazon almost all roborock vacs have < 2000 reviews in total..Whats the hype?

I am looking for a robovac that picks up dust/hairs(human - dont have pets) and dont require manual intervention to babysit it and is smart enough not to get stuck, approx 1800 sqft on two floors.
anyone has recommendation? cherry on top would be is it is self emptying.

Does anyone know the best way to buy the dock separately? I have a q5 but it didn't come with the dock and every deal is only for the combo...

My wife wants a robo vacuum for xmas. I know very little about the topic. Is the Revo Q a good deal?

As a slickdealer, I ordered first and ask question later.

Eufy x8 pro has the tangle eliminator brush with self empty but no mop. Don't think any of the roborock has that.

For people who have had multiple versions of the Roborock, is it worth it to have the self-empty and mopping pad cleaning dock? I am debating to get a vacuum and mop robot but do not know how much work involving cleaning the mop pad? Do you have to clean it multiple times during 1 mop? TiA
