The Vizio M512a-H6 has had great reviews (check out rtings) but it looks like the Hisense is pretty decent itself. For the best deal, I'd go buy this Walmart version of the Hisense [walmart.com] which is $129 starting tomorrow 11/22 at 12pm EST. No clue how popular that deal will be so it might even be worth joining Walmart+ for $12.95 for a month to get early access to it.

Have one of the older atmos soundbars and I've had to set it with just optical or ARC. Soundbar continually will not turn on with the tv or not switch to hdmi input. I either have to unplug the soundbar for 30 seconds, plug it back in and hope it recognizes the connection. It worked fine until Vizio did a firmware update and they haven't updated it since.

How do you update the firmware if the device won't turn on? I cannot get it to power on.

I did some research and this appears to be the best for the $350 price point today to replace a 8 year old Klipsch sound bar. Bought from Amazon.

Problem is this is not much of a price drop as it was listed for the same price on last year's Black friday and for 299 in june 2021 on Amazon.
