This is good for holiday presents where you don't need them right away. Get a little extra cash back and delay the cluttering of your house. The no rush shipping deal was better when they had a $1 credit regardless of the price. Bought tons of toys and rented about a dozen movies for free on prime video.

The opposite of slick when it means 1% more than the usual 5%
At the loss of No Rush Digital dollars.

Unless it's large items, this seems like a downgrade.

Exactly. They removed the option for me to use my Prime Visa with the no rush digital credits since at least September. The only way I can get the no rush credits is by using a different credit card, which means I lose out on my normal 5% cash back.

Same. Although I still have $30 or so in credits to use by Dec. 15th. This has made me buy much less stuff though. I would add a couple cheap items to each order to get the credits. It was a no brainer for me as they often can not seem to keep their two day shipping promise. Was going to cancel Prime but mom likes the movie options. So, it stays until I get a Plex server up and running again.

Probably works for Amazon much better. They were likely losing money on those items.

This is very deceptive by Amazon. It's only 1% more! I prefer the no rush digital credits way more.

I have never used this extra 1% and never will. Just trash. Make it an extra 5% (total of 10%) and then we'll talk.

Give me my 2 day shipping all day.

Definitely a big downgrade from digital credits, but it was only a matter of time.

This really sucks. I used to collect enough no rush credits in November-December to get TurboTax Deluxe for free. Now I'm just getting the items quickly instead of opting to get that extra 1%.

Well god damn.. I never thought of using digital credits for that. Nicely played!

The trick is too order a bunch of stuff with slow shipping then order a commodity (something that exists in all their warehouse - not just a few) with fast shipping. They'll box them all together and send it fast.

Good info. I didn't realize which card you used would affect the no rush credits. Sure enough, as soon as a switched they offered regular No Rush Digital credits.

I usually have to add some cheap fillers to get it up to $3 no rush.
