Buy an extended warranty. If you filter reviews to this model, almost every review says the touch panel fails or barely works.

However, it appears that this until has no teflon, and uses enamel and stainless steel. So that is a huge win.

The absence of Teflon is very good.. Most have it, and it can be toxic.

Only if it vaporizes which happens at 620F. Teflon chips pass right through you.

If anyone's curious just google it. The bad stuff with Teflon happens at the factory, not in the kitchen. If anyone has objections to PFAS that's a valid reason.

The touch panel failed on mine after 10 months. Instant sent a new one without asking for the faulty one back.

Mine failed as well, paid top dollar for it, but it's been a few years since I got it and probably out of warranty. Was yours under warranty?

Is it true this design (countertop oven style) of air fryers (yes I know they're all just convection ovens) are a pain to clean? It seems like the more expensive you go with air fryers, the harder it is to clean because of the design

I saw a similar one model 2440 for $67 on the other site with no warranty. Is Costco one year?
