My guess is because $250 has been the standard sale price of late, so maybe ppl are expecting/ waiting for a better price point for a Black Friday sale?

Are you saying that you bought them on Oct 10, and the return window lasted only 15 days, until Oct 25? Were they sold by Amazon or a 3rd party? Do you have Prime?

Something isn't right here. I bet you could have asked customer support to issue you a free return. I have successfully returned stuff shortly after the return period had expired before. In your case, they would have 100% helped you.

I would even contact customer support now. Worst case, they could issue you a credit to make up the difference. Especially if the return period was so short, which for Amazon makes no sense.

Say what you will about Amazon, but its customer service has been top notch for me.

Grabbed one a couple days ago on Amazon at $250. Tried to get them to give me a credit before returning. They would not, so started the return today and purchased at Target for $229.

Just a heads up for anyone who purchased from Amazon at the $249 price in the last week or two.

Fire tablets are really no comparison to iPads. If your kid doesn't have an iPad this $220 is an excellent investment. Roblox will run seamlessly on it.
